Re: Core 50 MG - Magnesium Corrosion
Sorry to hear of your issue. I've got a Core 100 & 50 that I use in both SW and FW. I don't have any issue with corrosion with either reels. I did open up the handle side plate to change out the stock drag washers before the reels were ever used and sprayed the frame with some T-9 Boeshield. Haven't...

Re: Split Ring Pliers
You will be happy with the Texas Tackle split ring pliers. Best split ring pliers I've used. I have the orange handled ones. Very pleased when I need to change hooks on baits, these make quick work of this job.

Re: Handles
I have a couple of ZPI 85mm straight carbon handles (Platinum) that I bought from Japan Tackle or Brooklyn Bill's. At the time, the 85mm length was the longest offered. Good replacement for the shorter handles that came standard on the Scorpion Mg 1000. Also replaced the stock handle on a Metanium X...

Speckled : Feedback Request Topic
Hello all. Most of my dealings on this site have been one sided. Like mhood said years ago: "I'm a black hole in regards to fishing tackle, tackle comes in and never goes out" :big grin:. So, all my dealings here have been me buying tackle and not selling. Never made one of these feedback request to...

Re: Boxes/Bags
I'm still using my very first tackle bag from Shimano that I bought twelve years or so ago. It's been a great bag, it's faded badly but nothing else seems to have been effected. No stitching coming out or breaking and the zippers still function perfectly. It will hold 6 3700 boxes but I've always p...

Re: Boxes/Bags
Falcon V12 bag and all falcon boxes....I knew that plano would mess them up. Glad I stocked up! Bag is starting to get worn after 8 or so hard seasons, but incredible products overall. Same here, I actually just bought and returned 6 Plano FTO boxes because they really screwed them up. Still have m...
