Where can I get custom feather tied trebles?
Anyone know a person or shop that does custom feather tying on treble hooks? I’d like to get some tied on specific hooks that currently don’t come feathered

Kistler KLX closest to old Kistler "APC" rods?
Looking to add another 6'9" "do a little bit of everything" rod, like I used to do with the older Kistler Mg 6'9" MH "all purpose casting" gray and green blanks.
Anyone have any idea which of the current KLX comes comes closest? Would assume it's either the KLXCRT69MH or the KLXTCRWJ69MH.

reel balance for GLX 852s
For those of you with the new model of the GLX 852s, what reel do you have paired with it and how's the balance? Just grabbed one and using a Stradic 2500 FJ for the yard fishing test. Balance seems pretty good with that reel but ultimately I was hoping to pair it with a lighter Stradic 2500 FK or C...

2 or 3 power GLX?
Considering adding my first GLX to my collection of rods but looking for some advice on which power. I'm considering a rod to handle weightless 5" senkos, 1/4 oz and under Texas/Mojo/Rage rigs, finesse jigs and the like. Would be fishing grass and around some stumps, but certainly not in the heavies...

Re: El Salto and Lake Picachos rod and reel combos
I did Baccarac last March. All I will say is that travel rods made the trip MUCH easier, both for logistics and for peace of mind.
A few of the the guys I went with had done El Salto, and they spoke about very stout equipment and line due to fishing in some very gnarly trees.

What Power Loomis For 1/4 And 3/8 Oz Jigs?
I've been pondering picking up a Loomis for a while now. What power would you guys recommend for 1/4 and 3/8 oz jigs (+ trailer)? 3 or 4? And if it matters, I'd need to stick to the 6'8" or 7' models.

Re: Kistler Customer Service... WOW!
My 6'9" Magnesium MH/F casting rod was my first attempt into the higher end tackle, and I loved that rod until I broke the tip off in my rod locker. I replaced it with a current version of the same rod, and while it's not nearly as good as the original version I had, it's still perfectly fine for mo...

Re: Know of any telescopic crankbait rods?
I still see the 7'6" telescoping Crankin Stick on the BPS site Do you? I don't. They all have a "T" at the end of the model #. Hope you're right! I can't put MegaBass $$ into this one. :( http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-Crankin-Stick-Trigger-Rods/product/10204844/ Model CS763MHT-T. The 2nd T ...

Re: Best Shakey Head Rod (casting)?
I'm looking for suggestions on shakey head rods in the casting version. Please explain why the rod you are suggesting is the best. I am currently using a 7' Medium Fast St. Croix Xtreme, and love it for this application. I have someone who wants to purchase the rod, but I'm reluctant to sell it, un...

Re: Zillion Rods
I personally love my Zillion rods. For me, they just make me feel more connected to my bottom-bouncing lures than other rods I've used. I will say that they are a bit stiffer and more powerful than the ratings would have you believe, but these rods have greatly improved my jig fishing. I also happe...
