TD-Z, Steez (103 or 100), SS SV 34mm spool bearing size?

https://i.ibb.co/p35gQhg/image0.jpg My bad if this has already been covered in the past. The spool on the left (silver) is an I'ze Factory HLC (bearing size 5x11x4). The one on the right (black) is the stock spool from an SS SV 103 (bearing size 3x10x4 fitted inside a sleeve). I've been using these...

Lake Mead area bass guide

A bass enthusiast friend of mine from South Korea is planning to do a day trip on Lake Mead. I'm trying to find a guide for him. Looked at some of the guide listings on Google but unsure if they can offer what my friend wants. Does anybody know any reputable, licensed bass guides operating in Lake M...

Re: Any Pixy Enthusiast left?

As a long time Pixzilla enthusiast, I sold my last one earlier this year. I'm with you on the SV spool on almost every Daiwa baitcasting reel. That thing is awesome.

Re: Shimano Scorpion 70HG v Scorpion XT 1000

wider side plate is for the XShip not so much the larger gears. My 1000xts have 7.7 gears but it's a great to see pics comparing the 2. I'm going to order 1 or 2 to add to the line up I was clueless about the XShip system and never thought that XShip requires such a wide sideplate. Thanks for the i...

Re: Which Corzza

I have a couple of Corzza baitcasting rods and they are awesome for spinnerbaits and mid-diving crankbaits. The blank is like a cross between graphite and composite material. Majorcraft calls it medium-high modulus or something liks that. In my opinion, Corzza blanks aren't design for bottom contact...

Re: Shimano Scorpion 70HG v Scorpion XT 1000

Thanks for the great side by side. Also thanks for answering the question on where it was made. I am liking the fact of the spool dimensions being the the same. I'm now wondering if a spool shaft adapter could be made and the brakes swapped to make the old spools work? Hmm I may have to get one to ...

Shimano Scorpion 70HG v Scorpion XT 1000

It's been years since I last posted any images of reels on TT forum. So, here's my take on the new Scorpion 70HG and a side by side comparison with the Scorpion XT1000. This is not a full stripdown comparison. Maybe TT can do that real soon? I just received this reel yesterday and have yet to spool ...

Re: How to void the warranty on a reel

In my opinion, forget the paint job. Just give it a good powered polish. Bare aluminum have the killer looks ;)

Re: Bass fishing superjumbo perch!!!

Thanks guys. Ha... ha... you're right, I could use a big pan for this big mama. Fortunately for her, we let her go to fight another day ;) I was fishing with 10lb Sunline Siglon 100% FC and had trouble controlling the fish near cover. It could have easily snap my line if it turned the other way. Gue...

Bass fishing superjumbo perch!!!

Hey there guys. It's been a while since I last posted images of jumbo perch in Europe. Just been back from Hamburg, Germany and fishing there was a blast. My buddy and I dialed in some effective patterns and we caught a load of superjumbo perch. No doubt, when it comes to monster perch fishing, Germ...
