I know you said save slim bodied but...that is the easiest question to answer in the world of fishing....Original Rapala and Jointed Rapala...Gold.....no fish can resist :) ....you just gotta' learn how to use them....I'll go out on a limb and say it is THE most versatile bait on the market bar none...

As others have stated with regard to the cracked plastic...I would WITHOUT A DOUBT return it for an exchange.<PERIOD!!.....at least the side plate anyway....you could use the reel until the sideplate was replaced....just remember....no knock on Daiwa...if man makes it there WILL be a rogue problem o...

Since you are looking for TWO reels for light cranks...how about the TWO reels at the top of the heap for light baits..one Pixy and one Calcutta Conquest/TE 50/51...you wouldn't regret it :)

Magnesium can not be anodized. The yellow's paint scratches very easy for some reason. I believe there is a problem with the paint it seems soft. Even the area where my thumb goes has worn pretty badly.[/quote Ummmm...yes it can and it is on the red Pixy. The yellow "for some reason" scratches easi...

....they perform the same...just pick a color.

Red is anodized red...yellow is painted.

3. Lack of proper equipment per Bassman.

If you must I would strongly encourage a Machine Shop do it for you. To offset the fify/sixty bucks you will get charged take a couple spools.

I personally wouldn't do it.
