Hi again, I did what you told me , added a little cals grease to the metal washers too, I added some extra grease to the carbontex washers too. The drag improved now ... but something is weird with the retrieve, its "heavier" I have to make a bigger effort in order to turn the handle of the reel and...

Do I have to put a thick coat of cals grease on the carbontex washers? ( one like in the picture of the Shimano Curado rebuild ( http://www.tackletour.com/articlereelma ... urado.html ) ??

Hi guys , I replaced the factory washers of my Daiwa Millionaire SW203 with carbontex drag washers. My question is , how should I notice better performance ??? I needed more strength to steal line from the reel after adding the carbontex washers than now... I don't know if that's right... I thought ...

I made myself the same question a couple of months ago... I was looking at the 253 luna. I finally bought a Daiwa 203SW , its like a luna but made in japan, 1 extra bearing , and made for saltwater, so its very resistant... If I havent found that reel, I would have bought a Daiwa Luna 253 Just my 2 ...

As Gun Doc said above, if you plan to retrieve a lot after you cast... like you do with lures... levelwind is my way to go. if you are just planning to let it sit, then go with no levelwind.
