Aquaholic I think they just look like that in the picture , I do underspool 2 of my reels ( crankbaits and spinnerbaits) to give me a slightly lower retrieval speed . It definately doesnt help with the casting ,if anything the spool spins faster due to having to rotate faster on start up of the cast...

What was intersting John was that when I tested it , the number 2 piston heat seized . anyway the owner is having the motor totally rebuilt ie. new pistons , rings , and bearings as well as a new impeller prior to me taking delivery. I just hope that we can get to the bottom...
