Sorry, that's a billiard term used in my area. It means, the balls, bitchen, or the bees knees, depending on where your from.

Re: New 2016 G.Loomis Rods

Bantam, I'm looking for a 3/8 possibly 1/2oz tube rod. I've had the GLX 852s, I hated the handle. It was too big for a day on the water fighting smallies. It was pretty good for 3/8oz but I'm not sure it would work for 1/2oz. I sold it and bought the NRX 852s. I love this rod but it feels a bit soft...

Re: Best spinning rod for tubes

After a bit of use, here's my take on the Nrx852s for tubes. Rod is a dream to have in my hands. After a full day on the water, I have no soreness or strain on my wrist like I did with the GLX852s. The weight of the NRX is noticeably lighter too. lighter weight means less fatigue, less fatigue means...

Re: Best spinning rod for tubes

I have owned the GLX 852s for about two years. I fish a lot of smallmouth on 3/8oz. tubes. The 852 is a perfect length rod for most any types of open water application. Yes people talk about longer rods but I just don't see the benefits. How much better is a 7'3 rod over a 7'1", It's negligeabl...

Hook and weight box

I am currently using an old Falcon hook and sinker box. The box has been falling apart for sometime and I really need to replace it. Im wondering what everyone else is using so I can get an idea what works. I like the sectioned off compartments instead of the moveable dividers. I find that hooks and...

Re: Tungsten Bullet Weights

I think real deal tungsten is the best prices I have found. I think BBC members get a discount but you might want to check on that. Just make sure you get 97% Tungsten and you should be good.

Re: stradic fk question

I'm not exactly sure what's all being questioned here but I think that I got the idea. I will say this, I was a huge believer in Mg and AL. I hated to here about many of my favorite products changing over to carbon or some type of carbon matrix. I purchased the new cI4+ and have never questioned it ...

Re: No. 8 Blackout Rods

Damn, that thing looks pretty good. I didn't check on the guides being used but the spinning rod looks to be a nice minimalistic design. Hope they do well with them.

Re: Curado 200i bearing upgrade?

Thanks guys. I have swapped out quite a few sets of bearings in the past, I just wasn't sure about the performance upgrade on the Curado. Swapping out bearings seems to be noticeable on some reels and some I can't tell. Buy the sounds of it, I will keep the stock bearings for now. I appreciate you t...
