I like Hot Sauce. It lasts a very long time, It stays where I put it and the viscosity is more constant than some others in different temps.

As I am a man of my word, here is the responce from Quantum. I am not "beating a dead horse", I gave my word that I would post the follow up. So here it is: We are in the process of confirming with the supplier all of the ingredients of the grease and oil. I can assure you that we stand by Hot Sauce...

I think you guys are over reacting. Come on, it's just lubricant. If you want to stop buying shimano because one rep said hot sauce will wear down your gears, be my guest. You the one missing out ;) I personally have never even considered using Hot Sauce. There are plenty of better "safer" alternat...

One thousandths of what im guessing is a millimeter is absolutely silly and im sure happens from when stuff wears in no matter what lubricant is used. Does it really dissolve grease and oil? Because I was going to wash all the oil and grease out of my reel first then re-lube with just this xtreme reel. But if it actually dissolves the grease/oil, then all I have to do is squirt this stuff on top of my hot sauce. Anyone know the truth or tested it...

I personally agree with dragon1. Shimano, Diawa, ETC don't have to answer to anyone. It is like everything else in life, you get what you pay for. I know all have bargain reels, but I do not feel that the JDM's and higher end reels are in the same class with the "blister pack" reels. BTW, gameover, ...

The Hot Sauce grease does not come out of clothes, not even with Spray & Wash pre treatment. Just thought you all should know. I went to http://www.abugarcia.com this morning to look at a few specs and it stated: abugarcia.com expired on 05/08/2007 and is pending renewal or deletion.

I hope this is just an error on their side that they might of forgot to renew their domain.
