Re: Lets talk Spools and Light Crankbaits

Re: Sunline primer?

I have only used three types of Sunline. Sniper is fairly limp and handles well. It has good abrasion resistance. I use it on spinning reels and moving baits. Shooter is a harder line which doesnt handle as well as Sniper but does well on casting gear. The abrasion resistance is excellent. It is ve...

Re: Daiwa T3 after a year

http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa207/robertrinaustin/photo10.jpg Mine is nearly new and got nicks in the bar under the T wing loading 10# fluoro on it. Needless to say, I am not impressed with the finish. The reel cast well, not any further than my other quality reels, but with less effort. How...

Re: Swimbait/Lunker Punker Reel

there are a lot of nice reels mentioned but I would suggest a Daiwa Zillion 6:3:1, it handles swimbaits quite well and don't see another reel to take its place.

Re: Anyone using Sunline Mono?

Sunline Super Natural rocks, Defier is even better (a bit pricey for mono) but Machine Gun Cast is just plan awful. Tried it on 3 different rod in 3 different lbs test and was disappointed each time. What didn't you like about the Machinegun Cast? Machinegun is a copolymer and will act alittle diff...
