All are in excellent condition. I live near the Florida Intercoastal (Indian River) which is a bracki...

I have the old style tournament bass model TBC68MXF.
Fabulous rod. It is my dedicated crankbait rod.
The new split grip is very saxy indeed.
Which reminds me,
Derek 777, I'm not appreciating the picture of my sister you have on your rod

Re: Just got a Sol, what upgrades?
I bought a sol when they first came out. Purdiest dang fishin reel I ever did see. But the handle bothered me right from the start. It was a little loose and the knobs rattled a bit. Unfortunately the knobs cannot be tightened or replaced on the sol, so I bought the TD handle for it. big improvement...

Why do we upgrade? Why not..........................
just buy a top of the line reel in the first place? eh? I just got my Daiwa Sol back from DR. He put in ABEC 5 spool bearings, Carbontex drag washers and clean/lube. I had already replaced the stock handle with a TD-Z handle. the reel is tight, smooth, and a deeeeee-lite. but with the upgrades, I've...

Re: Wave Tiki Stick vs. Yamamoto Senko
You can't be serious. It has as good a fall/action as the Senko.
No comparison. The GYCB senko has much more action than the wave
Put a 4/0 owner riggin hook on a 5" senko and you will get great hookups

Re: Best use for TDZ 105H
I remember when Cabella's put these on sale. People were buying them popcorn at the movies. I commented on the low line capacity. You would have thought I cursed in church. Now I think that all the hoopla has quieted down, folks are seeing just why these reels were "excessed" in the first place.

DR just for upgrades?
It seems that DR is basically the man to go for with any type of upgrade. But what about routine cleaning and maintenance on a high end reel like a td-z.
DR do you do this, or is there someone you recommendend for the routine stuff. Thanks.

evolution jig.
very unique looking jig.
all quality componets, stand up design and even the fall and retrieve are unique.
Those of you who are using them, what are your best methods, trailers, ets.

Re: Stella VS. Steez
Steez all the way.
light, great line capacity, smoth in that Diawa way that i love so dearly. precision craftsmanship and feel
Untill they put chips in spinning reels, I don't see how much farther the technology can improve.
