Re: Tatula LT vs. Fuego LT spinning
I can't comment on the Fuego LT, I went with the Exceler LT 2500 high speed.. didn't think the Fuego LT was worth the extra $20. I do plan on getting the Tatula LT though, since all of them come in a 6+ gear ratio.

Re: Low profiile baitcasters with a Baitclicker/feeder
Thanks everyone, ended up coming across a Quantum cabo baitcaster locally. Kindve an obscure reel, that wasnt around long. and Ive never owned a quantum. But this things extremely nice, even came with the factory reel cover and box for 50 bucks. Last night we went out and it handled a 37lb blue cat...

Daiwa Lexa CC
Okuma Komodo
Abu Garcia Revo Toro NaCl (if you can find one)
Those are the only ones I know of.

Re: Daiwa Revros Red
from what I've found, it looks to be a Thailand market special edition reel made in co-op with Rapala. 2 less bb's than US model, and lower gear ratios. Based on current exchange rates with Thailand, you're looking between $38-$44 depending on size, without shipping

Re: Daiwa Freams (Cabela's)
I've been looking into this reel as well. Australian market Daiwa Freams LTD. Cabela's has done that before, where they will sell and overseas reel from Daiwa, but the last one I remember them selling was the Millionaire SW.

Re: CRB Mudhole IM6 blanks
I built one up on the 6'6" blank that's says it's rated for 1/2- 1 1/2 oz. fast action medium powered blank. I use it to throw 1/16oz jig head with a 3"grub with a small split shot above it for white bass. Ratings are definitely way off, but it does a decent job for what I'm using it for.

Re: Grooved replacement
Thanks for the pic, looks just like my bunch. Did you replace them? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't someone come on here and write that when they sent their reels back to daiwa that they put the new (version) t-wing on their reels? Or was I wishing that's what they said... The person we spoke to...

Re: Tatula T-Wing Grooving
stopped by the local Cabela's today to see if anything from ICast had dropped yet... But thought this was rather interesting and wanted to share... All regular Tat's on display still has the wide Twing, Tat HD has the newer revised Twing, the Type-R had me scratching my head a little, the leftie had...

"Designed for the anglers who love the action of the 6XD, but don’t enjoy the torque of the 10XD, the Strike King 8XD gives anglers a mid-range presentation that provides the best of both worlds." From TW's description.. From my understanding the 8XD is the same profile as the 6. Therefore giving th...

Re: how much does the amount of bearings a reel has matter.
I wouldn't pay too much attention to bearing count. I have used 11 bearing $50 reels that feel terrible Most quality reels that have 6 + 1 bearing counts are more than capable I am a Daiwa guy, however I would stear clear of the ballistic Just my 2 cents You do realize that he's talking about the D...

Re: Lefty Crankbait Reel?
I have a lefty bb1 5.1:1 with the multi-stop anti-reverse... the reel itself is great, casting distance is great, retrieve is great... But I'm indifferent about the multi-stop anti-reverse.... I guess I haven't really been in a situation where I would use that little bit of back turning...
