Re: SV Spool Inductor
I tried a few solutions that all failed with my SS-SV. The inductor seems to move out too far and the plastic pieces get wedged together. The reel still casts well but this is not proper function. I had sent my SS-SV spool back to Japan 2x for fix, both times the new spool did the same thing. I solv...

Re: SS SV vs Steez SV
I agree the SS SV is great when the spool rotor isn't stuck out.

Re: Daiwa Tatula 7'2"MHRB or 7'2"HFB
For warranty, just go on their website and follow return instructions. I have sent a few rods back and in a week I have a new one. Daiwa has great warranty service.

Re: Daiwa Tatula 7'2"MHRB or 7'2"HFB
I have thought about the Tatula frog rod and flipping stick. I do prefer rods over 7' long but I do not like handles over 13.75". I have a new zillion 7'mxf and the handle is 14", I will probably cut it down. That leaves me with the Tatula 7'2"Heavy fast and the 7'2"Medium Heavy Regular which have h...

Daiwa Tatula 7'2"MHRB or 7'2"HFB
I"m looking for a rod to throw .5-1 oz. buzzbaits, .5-1oz spinnerbaits, and horny toads in mild to heavy cover. Anyone have the daiwa tatula 7'2'mhr or 7'2"HF? Wondering how much power the tips have considering a horny toad isn't that heavy. Any information on these two rods would be appreciated.

Re: Fixing sticky SV inductors
I have the same problem in my Daiwa SS SV, have had issue from day one. Not an easy fix. Waiting to hear back from Daiwa Japan. I have a Alpha SV spool in my Alpha ito, it has no issues and works great.

Re: New Sufix 21 Line
I finally used the line and it seemed to cast well with a buzz bait. I currently have 12lb and will be trying the 10 lb when it warms up here.

Re: Daiwa SV spool stuck rotor
I took mine apart and the bottom plastic retainer that the rotor rides on was slightly damaged on one of the ramps. I believe it's the same issue as in the link I provided above. The rotor extends out on a sharp cast and gets lodged in between the spool shaft and the plastic retainer. It appears thi...

Daiwa SV spool stuck rotor
I just bought Daiwa SS SV to try out the new SV spool. It seems I have the same issue many have had with the spool brake rotor sticking in outer most position. This has happened to my reel just test casting, not even fishing yet. I was browsing web for related issues and found the following link add...

Re: Thoughts on the new zillion rods
I would like to check out the other tatulas to see how they compare. Problem is I have to buy the rod to check it out. Nearest bass pro is 2 hours and they don't have all rods in stock. My 7'ML tatula doesn't have that airy feel, its more solid/heavy feeling. Not very lively for a ML. I'll try it wi...

Re: Thoughts on the new zillion rods
I just picked up a tatula 7'ml. It feels tip heavy to me and not as crisp as my zillion and steez rods. They are different actions and powers but the blank of the steez feels the lighest and most crisp. There is no way the blank on the tatula is the same material/layup as my steez/zillion.

Re: New Sufix 21 Line
I bought some in 12lb. Seems very stiff to me. Almost springs off the spool.
