Re: New Zillion Rods

Was looking at the specs on these today because I found the glass composite ones intriguing and noticed they have alconite guide train? Really??? $300+ rod series with alconite guides? thats sad. I remember the rebellions could be had for $150 and even they had SS/SIC guides https://www.daiwa.com/u...

Re: New Zillion Rods

Does anyone know if it's the same blank as the Steez rods or the new Tatula elites? Seen them available at a few online retailers and a couple models have me very intrigued.

Re: New Zillion Rods

I haven't seen anything yet, but sounds intriguing. The carbon mq butt grip section has me intrigued, is this Daiwa's take on the carbon monocoque handle Shimano has been utilizing?

Re: New Certate?

Or is the airity its completely own reel this time around? I know the previous model was identical to the old exist except with a spool support bushing in...

New Certate will be released in December
Are there any details released on the new Certate? The 2019 model is a fantastic reel, interested to see what they've changed for the new model.

These only come in 1/8oz and 3/0 hook, but I've used them fishing inshore for redfish and speckled trout with great success https://www.4horsementackle.com/product ... k-jig-hook

Re: Bass Fishing Not Very Popular?

Just curious, why the hate for bass resource? I feel like the guys there got caught by the sponsorship bug and keep plugging away at products that are subpar or mediocre at best. Also, if you say anything negative about a sponsored product, then you can be sure it's going to get removed. Bunch of s...

Re: GeeCrack

I couldn’t get over the sweaty dirty sock smell. They work, but not so well that I will put up with something that nasty.  I'll probably never spend $10 on a pack of plastics, but do they really smell that bad? They definitely have a strong odour to them. I don't find they smell like sw...

Re: ML bottom contact rod recommedation

I have the A version of the Expride 72ml+ and use it now for throwing 1/8oz Owner Flashy swimmers or Okashira screwheads with a 2.8 keitech (total weight 8 grams) and it's great for that. Have also used it for throwing 1/8oz jigheads with 3 inch paddletails inshore for slot redfish and it had more t...
