So novice at tip repairs. I have a St. Croix premier spinning reel, the insert on the top eyelet on the tip has gone missing. Causing my line to snap everytime I try and set the hook. Does this require an entire new tip? Or can you get the inserts somewhere, and glue them in? If so, any idea on size...

Last time our lake came up, we tried frogs in the newly flooded grass, found the fish had moved up shallower. Took us half a day to figure it out, but once we did we picked up a few nice fish!! May be worth a shot
