Ideas for new jig reel after tragic accident
Ok so this past Friday I was out just fishing a local pond for a lil to kill some time and had 2 rods (Dobyns SSM733 with the new Tatula SV and a Dobyns 735 with a Tatula 150) laying next to the bank and some careless lady not only drove past my rods 2 times she ran them over with a lawnmower. I was...

Re: Opinions on $250-$350 reel
How does the bantam mgl feel in hand size wise to other reels? I have a Tatula 150, Tatula SV, Tatula 100 and Curado DC. Does it feel close to the size of those, smaller or bigger? I’ve seen a lot of videos talkin about how solid of a reel it is and it definitely has my vote.

Opinions on $250-$350 reel
Lookin at a future purchase reel to match with a Dobyns DX746c preferably in the $250-$350 range. I’ve got Daiwa’s and Shimano DC’s and wanna see what the next tier level of reels has to offer. I will use this as a heavy cover jig rod and creature baits. I’ve looked at bantams and zillions and also ...

New grease suggestions
Been using super lube silicone grease with the ptfe for my freshwater bait caster gears and friction areas. It works pretty good but it seems to wear away pretty quickly. I was wondering what you guys would suggest to use on my main gear, pinion and around the clutch plate area? Something with a lil...

What’s a good rod for spinnerbaits?
I’m lookin preferably a 6’10 rod for smaller spinnerbaits buzzbaits and things like that. I want it shorter because I will be using it to cast into cover on the banks. I found the shorter rod really gets me into tight spots with accuracy. I had a Shimano Exage 6’10 MH/F but the tip on it broke. Do a...

Spinnerbait rod ?’s
Ok so I recently got a 6’10 Shimano Exage medium heavy fast action rod for spinnerbaits and short cover casting. I am wondering if any one has used this rod and can tell me if it holds up? I feel for a medium heavy it’s a lil limp and what would you guys suggest to use for shallow go or spinnerbait ...

Received my first DC reel
I know I’m months behind the curve but I just received my new Curado DC today. I paired it with a 6’10 MH/F Exage rod and it feels nice. I spoiled some 15lb fluoroclear on it and did some casting out in the yard and it casts like a dream on setting 2 even with 12 mph winds. This is my first DC reel ...

Re: Daiwa Fuego Ct or Shimano SLX
Really depends on what braking system you are used to. I can vouch for Daiwa’s as I have 3 diff tatulas and the fuego isn’t much diff from the Tatula ct just doesn’t have the t wing system. Heard a lot of good things about both but in reality either will work fine just depends if you like centrifuga...

Re: ZPi Tatula SV spool
At first I thought it was the magnets inside the side plate cause it rattled a little bit but I took it out and put a thin layer of grease around the bottom of the housing and it fixed that but I still get the knock and it’s just one knock once my thumb stops the spool on a cast and I can confirm it...

Re: ZPi Tatula SV spool
Just curios do you guys have issues with your stock Sv spool inductor being to loose/light? Mine makes a knocking sound when the spool stops after a cast.

Re: Sv spool ???
I found the issue, the brake magnet housing on the side plate is loose causing a rattle when the brakes disengage. W I need to figure out house to fix it
