Re: Where can I find the old (blue) Sttez AGS rods?

I will be selling (just lazy and haven't posted them) the following casting models 7'1 MH Great Shape 8'0 H Great Shape 7'2 MH Round Bend scratches near hook keeper from trebles, but that's it 7'1 H - Have it set to send into Daiwa to repair a guide, so won't have it back for a while Let me know if ...

Re: 2021 Legend Extreme, stalling out ?

I have a few of these 7'1 MH, 7'4 H and a 6'10 ML spinning. I'll say they are balanced and very sensitive. I haven't been able to use the 7'4 and 6'10 as much yet as I got them this winter. I'm a fan, but I also am a fan of the Steez AGS rods which are little lighter. But I am such a big fan of the ...

Re: Megabass P5 Decision

If you're going to pitch a jig in tight quarters or skip docks it's the tachyon shaft all day long. It's so much fun. If you're going to want to throw a 1/2 jig or football jig out deeper or texas rig on cover X-bites. If you don't know what you want to do with the rod super destroyer. They are all ...

Re: New Megabass Destroyers

I've got the tachyon and super destroyer I can tell you they are both outstanding rods. I use my tachyon shaft as much as any rod I have, just can't put it down when close quarters jigging. The super destroyer gets some play there as well, but can do other things as well. I haven't explored all of t...

Re: Nrx 893c vs Megabass P5 X-bites

I have also spent time with both. I enjoy both very much. However, I feel that the NRX is a tad bit more sensitive, but overall like the X-Bites more based on balance and updated styling. Plus it is very sensitive.

Re: New Megabass Destroyers

I ended up buying 5 and it could easily be more if I find buyers for the Exprides, Conquest 844c MBR and GLX 893 Spinning I have for sale. Firstly, these rods are a work of art and super comfy to fish. I’m trying out Kayak fishing so the shorter lengths are welcome too. I have traditionally fished ...

Re: Sensitive jig rod

Has anyone used or have the tatula elite TAEL701MMHXB-AGS? Is it anything like the steez (but 5" shorter) as far as taper/power? Its one of the rods I was considering selling to fund a higher end rod. I have 2 of these rods. My rod lineup consists of all Steez, NRX, Conquest and then 2 of that spec...

Re: Football Jig / Heavier Fluke rod

It's a bit more expensive, but the Tatula Elite M/MH Ehler Finesse Rod is very underrated. I'd highly recommend for both techniques you are looking for. It's also a great stick for fighting the fish, keeps them pinned. I own many top brands, NRX, Steez, Conquest and still own two of these and absolu...

NRX 852c

Anyone used the nrx 852c before? Looking for some uses for it? I acquired one and am trying to see where it fits in. I also have a conquest 842c and wondering how they compare in terms of power and sensitivity etc.

Thanks!

Metanium DC

I'm wondering where you guys are using the Metanium DC reels? Is there distance good so throwing some cranks, football jigs, chatterbaits? Or do you use it for skipping baits? Or do you use it for the lighter baits that have issues in the wind at times like Jerkbaits, some smaller cranks etc? Where ...

njbasscat wrote:If I could only pick one for football jigs and pitching jigs, it would be NRX 894. Hands down the best 1/2 oz pitching jig rod I've ever used. I personally like the 893 for just football jigs in deep water but the 894 will cover both techniques.
What size football jigs are you using with the 893?
