Re: Lew's Shifts It into High Gear (Ratio) with Their HyperSpeed LFS

I think marking the reel down for "lack of torque" is a bit unfair. It's a 9.5:1 reel in small package - of course it's going to lack torque.

Re: An Introduction to the Bait Finesse System (BFS) and Recommended Tackle

To me BFS is just another example of "just because you can, doesn't mean you should".

UL spinning is a unfussy and pure - throwing casting gear into the mix introduces unnecessary complications. Each to his own but give me the click-click-click of a stripping spinning reel's drag any day.

As it was explained to me in previous posts, since TT originated tackle reviews on the internet, anyone else reviewing tackle on the www is therefore copying TT.
That is so small-minded!

Re: So how are SV BOOST spools?

As we‘ve seen in the latest copycat site teardown, your old reel automatically upgrades to hyper clutch, hyper everything once you put in the new spool  https://youtu.be/8nDRDvoFHl8 What makes his analysis wrong or deserving of the copycat label? Two small gripes: the overly shallow depth-of-field coupled with the choice of color makes it hard to see all the details in the photos. Maybe my aging eyes :-k

13 Fishing Jabber Jaw vs 6th Sense Axis

6th Sense is already talking about "patent pending". Who's going to win the moving bill war?

Luck-E-Strike G5 is a pretty good knock-off.

Curado 70 and Scorpion 70 interchangeable part

So I managed to donate my Curado 70 side plate to the muddy depths of my local lake today :x

I'm not situated in the US and it seems as though Scorpion parts might be cheaper to import. Will the Scorpion 70XG side plate fit on (what's left of) my Curado 70?
