Heavy finesse jigs needed
I'm trying to find someone with a mold much like the Missile baits Ike's mini flip jig. I've been having trouble finding something comparable to tie my own jigs on. Love that little jig but I'm hoping to find someone who can pour me some heads like them. I've added a link to the jigs I'm referring t...

Re: video on best way to remove hook on gut hooked bass
Just found this, this past fall, got to try it once or twice before the ice set in and I couldn't believe how well it worked! Great technique to know how to do!

Re: Humminbird Quality
Interesting, maybe its because I've been around the Humminbird brand a little more but I haven't heard on that with Lowrance before.

Re: Aluminum v. Fiberglass
Wish I was in the boat selling business but no. just intrigued by the bigger aluminum boats that are trying to grab a piece of what has long been fiberglass boat market share. Hadn't seen one in person till the other day when we were at weigh in and one of the anglers had the PT20, I posted a link b...

Re: Deep Cranking Rod
I agree there will be some wear and tear when doing that all day but the Ark just seems way over weight, maybe I should have looked into that first but it seems way too cumbersome for my liking. Even with a reel as heavy as a gen 1 winch it didn't do much to balance it out. I think that's the bigges...

Deep Cranking Rod
Did a little looking around on here and found some love towards the Dobyns 805CB, which really doesn't surprise me but here is my situation. I throw 6XDs and 8XD's a lot and had been using a cheapen 13 fishing cranking stick. It did the job but I wanted something heavier, I ended up getting the Ark ...

Re: Enough with the tackle. LETS SEE SOME FISH!
A couple tournament fish from earlier this year, weighed in 15.11 that day but it took 20+ to win as usual

Re: Humminbird Quality
I know these units are build with a pre determined moisture content inside so a little condensation can happen from time to time but all the issues I'm describing are completely failures of the seals, frying the inside completely. Just surprised and let down by the quality I've seen lately from Humm...

Re: Aluminum v. Fiberglass
I got to talk with the owner of the PT20 briefly and he said he has had fiberglass boats and would rather have one, but he also was the only dry one on the lake that day out of 70 boats. I'm not looking to buy right now just curious about the pros and cons to these larger aluminum bass rigs that riv...

Aluminum v. Fiberglass
My question revolves around the "new" bass boats from Crestliner and Lund. The 20' aluminum rigs with 200hp on the back. I ran into a guy with a Crestliner PT20 this weekend on Oneida after a tournament that due to rough water had many soaked anglers and broken boats. This guys boat was the only one...

Humminbird Quality
Alright, first I'd like to say I'm not new here, just went quiet for a year or so and completely lost all my stuff to log into my account. So fresh start it is i guess. So here's my question, I know a lot of guys are very brand specific when it comes to electronics especially with Humminbird and Low...
