Re: Sub 250.00 reel
I bought one of the first Chronarchs but I wasnt impressed at all. As long as I can still get some of the Zillions, I will pick up a few of them and see how things go. Thanks for the help.

Re: Sub 250.00 reel
I have several Metanium MGL's and a Bantam. I dont care for the bantam but I use it for frogs. I wanted something for throwing swim jigs, spinnerbaits (bladed baits). Im leaning towards the Zillion but I am curious about the Curado DC. Any comments on it? Thanks

Sub 250.00 reel
I need to pick up a few reels and thought about giving the Tatula TWSV a try. Now I see the Zillion TWSV can be had at a good price bringing it closer to what Im looking for. Im also interested in the new Curado DC and some of the new Lews reels. My question is: Is there a reel in this price range t...

Need some spinning reel help
Im picking up a GLX893s for throwing heavier tubes for smallmouth. Im looking at a Tatula 3000 or 4000, a Ballistic 3000 or 4000, or a Luvias 3000. Im currently using 2500 CI4+ reels on all spinning stuff but I dont feel like its going to be big enough for this rod. I just found a, possibly new CI4+...

Re: Reel frame painting
With a background in automotive and airbrush painting. I was doing a few reels when only ZPI was doing it. Unless someone is building a shelf Queen, frames aren't worth painting. To do them right they need to be soda blasted and chemically treated before paint. If you don't care much about chipping ...

Looking to try a 13 rod
Im a tournament fisherman and I have been using Loomis rods for sometime. I have wanted to try a couple of the 13 rods and do a little head to head comparison. What 7'+ rod would be recommended for a 3/8 tube? I like light blanks and quality guides. Thanks for your time.

Re: Bantam MGL Who has their hands on one?
I ordered 1 and received the wrong model. If anyone needs a 6.2 for cheap, let me know. Otherwise what mods are being done to these reels? I have an XG model thats going for its first ride tomorrow. I will be ordering a carbon handle and updating some of the other parts with anodized stuff as I find ...

Re: Daiwa J-Braid x4 ?
I have only used the Daiwa X8 and once I tried it, I put it on most everything. I havent tried the X4 but I would deffinately be willing to try it if it was readily available in my area. What the heck, give it a whirl.

Re: Anyone tricked out a Curado K
Are there any anodized parts out there? I like to add a few things to each to help identify what reel is used for what. Also a little bling never hurt anyone. lol

Anyone tricked out a Curado K
I have posted on another thread about how happy I am with the new Curado K. Just wondering if there are many cool anodized parts, bearings, etc. available for it. Anyone with a couple of pics of their blinged out reel? Thanks, just looking for ideas.

Re: Chronarch 50E or Curado K?
I have not used a tatula but I used to be a Daiwa nut with lots of Steez reels, TDZ's and alphas. In all honesty, This reel out performs all of them, it's that good. The 7.1 might be a bit much for deep cranking but I'm sure you know what's best for you. Good luck and tight lines.

Re: Chronarch 50E or Curado K?
I was able to use one of my new Curado K's yesterday and I have to say, Its the nicest sub 300.00 reel I have used. WOW! this thing does everything with ease. I was bombing a 3/8 Chatterbait with 40lb braid yesterday. I made no effort what so ever on each cast and the didtance is on par with my Meta...

Re: Chronarch 50E or Curado K?
I agree. I have 2 of the Core 50MG7's and dont see them going anywhere. I just want to know if the new gearing and other changes make the Curado K any better than the Chronarch 50E. I own the Chronarch 50E and love it but it might be easier to find the new stuff. I need a few reels for moving baits ...

Chronarch 50E or Curado K?
I have a Curado K on the way but I already own a Chronarch 50E. I guess my question is, are todays lower end reels better than yesterdays higher end reels? I know there is a size difference but I will be using the reels with 20-30 braid throwing swimjigs and chatter style baits so I shouldnt have a ...
