Not on the Alphas for sure.

Tatula SV and Millionaire/Alphas CT CCC

Curious if a first gen Tatula SV cast control cap will fit on a Millionaire or Alphas Ct. If someone could try, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Re: Millionaire Moddin'

Finally caught one on the reel. I think this ZPI PG spool is the winner.

Re: Millionaire Moddin'

I’m ready Steve! From the thread linked above: Anyone machining the boss down on one of these reels will get a free punch in the face from yours truly. Really, no charge at all. :D    Well, my arm can't reach from Chicago to Maryland, so I think you're safe for now. Looks good ...

Re: Would you Tap that ito ?

It's an M4 thread size. I use a .126 drill for the hole to be tapped.

Re: Daiwa SV103 > Type R+ spring -vs- HLC spring?

The HLC spring is stiffer than the R+. You can find it here: https://japantackle.com/tu001003.html

I had an SV103 spool with an R+ spring installed and about 1/16 of an inch material removed from the rotor and it was still relatively tame. I'd go with that over the R+ spring

Re: PX68

I've been thinking about picking up a pixy variant recently. What do you like about this version, say, compared to the others? What kind/size of baits have you been throwing with it? To be honest with you I wasn't a pixy fan until I stop trying to pixify the reel. When i discovered that you can do ...

Re: TD Fuego to Steez Gear Swap

Just from looking at both schematics, the fuego has a similar washer labeled "driveshaft washer" and sits under the drive gear buts thats just because the drive gear itself is keyed. Looks like you'd be fine with the fuego washer but will need to either remove the "tabs" from the drive gear or get o...

Re: Millionaire Moddin'

Amazing work, makes me wish I didn't squander my childhood where I could have learned this stuff. Those who run TDZ spools in their CVZs, what spools do you like? I have a Ringa SSS modded to allow 34mm spools and I have tried a couple. On my reel atleast, I can't use spools with too long of an ind...
