I'll second that with lotion.
If this means what I think it might mean, I might have to try some of this line...

Re: Daiwa 2019 Morethan TW

+1 from above. Only issue that I have with mine 8.6 is that the paint already chips (andI have not scratched the reel). Ouch...that is surprising. Maybe a one off... As the proud owner of a 20 month old OG Morethan, I am happy to report it does not have that problem. It is one of the better finishe...

Curious if you are interested in hearing some history from that area, and why I avoid the SJR up there?

How long have you been in that area fishing it?

Always interested

Your walking into the abyss.. safer to just google it...

Amazing specimen! I don't even want to know where you procured that from, my pocket book could not handle it.

Re: Tulala blanks?

. On their site I was reading about a different model that was described as all Japanese made. That's why I was wondering, they mentioned it on the Harmonix series, then didn't bother on the others. Doesnt really mean that it wasn't made in Japan. Just the squirrel holding the iced over rod. I like...

Re: Tulala blanks?

Has been super fun. For a big fish rod, this thing is as far away from a broomstick as I could imagine. Man Polk, so glad to hear that you scored a winner. After you mentioning that specific rod and reading up on it, it seemed to be a versitile stick. It's a beauty and props to you hopeing for the ...

Re: 7-8 foot bfs rod?

I was looking at the 6’10 varivas super suspender, since it was mentioned in another thread. The baits I’m throwing are around 1-1.5 grams total, and some even lighter. That 0 gram lower weight is incredible! but that 7’9 ul foshman rod sure is tempting. Have you tried the 7’9 rod yet? No.....

Re: 7-8 foot bfs rod?

Hi guys, I new to the bfs game and wanted to see if anybody knows about a bfs rod around 7-8 foot that can cast 1/32 jigheads. I have been using a KTF aldeberan bfs xg with a super trickster 6’4 recently. While I like the rod, I wish it was longer. I live in SoCal where most people throw small tube...

This Scorpion is now battle worthy 8-) Jun and Kayo banging it out quick! Can't go wrong when the Sonoda brothers are involved :big grin: Super leverage time with a Yugo Yamada signature handle ;) That is what I am talking about! Forget putting a quarters stuffed table leg bumper on the butt of you...

To my knowledge there are no Zillion SV TW's made in Japan. Have them show you the box or the bottom of the reel.

Re: Two versions of 16 Aldebaran BFS? Cost of additional spools?

Aquaftm, Have you used the rod or seen any reviews? I haven't. I have come close to ordering it several times. The guy from Proshop K told me he would ship it at my own risk, despite that it comes in a case. Other venders said no worries. I take that it is pretty delicate. Stunning looking rod. The...

Thanks! Ultralight, I see where you are heading with your recent posts. Your entering the world of BFS and you want it LIGHT! I'm going to head you off at the pass and suggest a gameplan. -Get the Steez CT SV -Wait out the forthcoming KTF 30MM Finesse Spool (I'm guessing it's going to weigh 7 grams...

Re: Tulala blanks?

Thanks Aquaftn for the info. I took the plunge in the dark not knowing much at all. All I knew is I was really digging what anglers were saying and it seemed to fit my fishing style. It’s the last rod I’ve been wanting and will likely get for a while. The 74 monstruo is on the way. It’s supposedly ...

Re: Tulala blanks?

Does anyone know anything about the blanks Tulala uses? Are these sourced from Designo perhaps? All I can find is that they are advertised as low elasticity. I’ve been eying these rods for a while and can find very little. Thanks in advance. Hate to see a good thread go unanswered :D Tulala is a ve...

Re: Evergreen Super Stallion

Unless I hit the Powerball or something I guess I'll just have to wonder. I realize everyone's needs and wants are different when it comes to fishing equipment, so are many people's means and financial obligations. I am pretty (really) low on the income spectrum, but fortunatly don't have a bunch o...
