Re: Combat Stick Selection
I own the H and M graphite versions(assuming you are speaking about the USA models) and I would split the difference and get the MH. The heavy is a beefy single hook rod and the medium is a soft treble hook rod; imo. The MH should fit nicely into that all-around rod that you seem to be looking for.

Re: Sensitive Moving Bait Rods
I tried fishing chatterbaits with a glass composite rod and fluoro, too and I couldn't hook up with anything. With braid, I almost never miss. Glass is good with those because it keeps the bait from beating the heck out of you. Thing is... a lot of the hits I seem to get with the vibrating jigs, I ...

Re: Jbraid grand issues
I recently won a spool of 40lb, which was removed after one outing. The line itself was flat, bled green everywhere and also dug into the spool quite badly.

New Keitech Rod
Just had this come across my instagram page, thought they looked pretty slick. I wonder if there is any chance they come to the US market.

Re: Best rod....
There are a ton of decent options at $100 from Tatulas, to BassX, to Omens. Sub 100 it gets a little tougher, 13's Defy series are decent treble hook bait rods as they aren't the most sensitive but tend to have a slower action than the fast that they state. Tacklewarehouse's 25 days sale is still go...

Some of the Phoenix Rods will fall into your price range, especially if you can get them on sale for black Friday. It wouldn't hurt checking them out as well.

A more productive way to say this would be that this forum is generally directed toward high end and enthusiast tackle.
You may get a better, more articulate response from another forum outside of the Tackletour one OP.

Ive had plenty of luck with the Blakemore Randy's Swim'n Runner heads. These have been dynamite the last few years for me after ice out. Just need a drop of super glue becauce they dont have a barbed collar.

Re: Origin TX-Left Hand
Im almost positive that the trick shop is compatible with all 13 fishing casting models. So as long as they offer just the left handed handle you should be good to go.

Re: Looking for a new jerkbait rod
I used a st Croix 6'6 medium mojo bass rod for years as my jerkbait rod. Its actually a medium, so i would say that st croix is a good place to look. With that said the med/hvy and heavy do run a little stiffer but not the mediums. Hope this helps.

Re: 13 Fishing Muse Gold rods
I bought the 7'2" ML early this year and I absolutely love it! Its been great for ned rigs, flukes, wacky worming; and what I primarily use it for, drop shotting. I've also used it for skipping wacky worms around cleaner docks. The mod/fast action of the rod keeps bass pinned extremely well. It...

Re: Phenix Recon Rod Weights?
I own a 7'1" Heavy and a 7'4" MH Recon 2. Both are light and sensitive. The heavy has a great soft tip and is a true fast action, while the MH I would say leans more toward moderate fast. I use the heavy for throwing jigs in everything but the nasty stuff. Just doesn't seem to have the bac...

Daiwa Cronos Heavy Glass
I'm not finding a whole lot of information on the new(ish) Cronos 7'4" Heavy Glass rod. I was wondering if anyone had a chance to try this rod out, or at the very least hold one. Is it a composite or all glass, tip heavy, light weight? Any information regarding this model would be appreciated. ...
