Re: Do you trust aluminum gears?
Really depends, landing 10lb fish is not as abused as pulling snag with the reel or cranking some big deep crank. I have brass Shimano gears gone bad on a few reels as well as brass from Alphas SV TW. My alde mg 7 and core 50mg as smooth as it can be when sold. I assume me pulling snag all days rui...

Re: Daiwa Deep Crankbait Reel Options
You can get them for a little less on Aliexpress for around $170 but returns would be a nightmare and you have to wait a month for it to show up so $200 off Amazon isn't bad. I don't know why these run so much in the US market. They are really proud of them. They are good casting reels though. I li...

Re: Daiwa Deep Crankbait Reel Options
I found a tatula elite 6.3 on Amazon for 199.95. the other gear ratios were still full price. I think it would be a good cranking reel. I'm going to use it on my glass rod however for square bills and chatter baits.

Re: 2021 daiwa blazon rod
Anyone have the C610M? I don't have the C610M but I do have: The C66M, C611H-SB, C67MH-FR, and C64L-ST/B Actions pretty close to there ratings? The MH frog is just as it says, a medium heavy frog rod. I like it cause it's not too stiff but I haven't landed any fish on it yet. How is the Blazon MH f...

Re: Steez A tws hlc the Fix
This is the best possible upgrade for steez HLC https://www.linkpicture.com/q/Screenshot_20230221_070609_Gmail.jpg Aren't those 34mm spools? Yes, but inductor and springs are same size Gotcha. You're only talking about the inductor and spring. Which website can I order those from? I would need all ...

Re: Steez A tws hlc the Fix
Been playing with this for a while If you find the stock spool too wild and you want the line capacity with more control drop in zillion hlc spool and do whatever your heart desires with not modifying I need this! I put an AliExpress spool on mine and it's still wild at times. Can you link or uploa...

Re: Tatula 80 bfs spools are out
Thanks, ordered one. My Tatula 80 TW has been collecting dust because of redundancy with my other reels. Now I can find a purpose for it.

The medium is perfect for any technique you'd want a medium for such as topwater, jerkbaits, small crankbaits. The MH frog is just as it says, a mediu...

I have to give the Luvias MQ some credit, I was leery after ready some of the reviews but I took a chance on a LT-3000-XH and was very surprised and now I have a FC 2000-XH as well, I also have four Certate's and a Luvias Arity. The only knock on the Luvias is that it's made in China Vs the other t...

Re: Megabass Z crank blue/red label
I got a chance to use each one. Didn't catch anything but made some observations. These can be burned with no blow out. The swimming action(wobble/side to side) is not as pronounced as the s-crank 1.2/1.5's that I fish but maybe this is a good thing for when the fish are being finicky or want to eat...

Oakley Radar EV Pitch Shallow Water Prizm. Great coverage since I don't get any glare from the sides either. I couldn't find the Radar EV Pitch frame with the shallow water lens so I had to buy a Radar EV Path and the Pitch shallow water lens seperately. Lens' are interchangeable between the pitch a...
