Re: Alphas air stream custom
I am on my knees at Daiwa HQ where I am eating my words... I used the Air Stream Custom today at a small stream. It was on the Major Craft N-One BF 7’8” regular (fast) action. I threw inline spinners weighing approximately 4 gram (edit: and crankbaits ~4 gram). Despite casting into a strong-ish win...

Re: Shimano Stradic CI4+ FA drag
Regarding the metal washer, i think there is. After i invert it, it works perfectly. Regarding the carbon washer, i put the one with the rougher surface on the bottom facing up, while the other two fine ones are on top.

Did you arrange the drag stack properly and in order? I once had the problem when i change my drag to carbon fibre. I had the metal washer invert.

I have the same problem too with an alphas sv. The stock sv spool works normally but then i change to the rays studio spool, this happen. I hope its just the tolerances.

Re: legit design rods
Its an awesome rod. Of coz its jdm. It feels really really good. I have the baitfinesse model. It whips light lures nicely, sensitive and plenty of backbone. Cant compare to an evergreen rod. But its good for its price.

Re: New Ald 30mgl
Any idea the spool is interswappable with the aldebaran 50? It would be great if there is a aftermarket bfs spool for the the mgl 30.

Alphas sv or Alphas air
Should i get an alphas sv or air? If i get an alphas sv, its cheaper and i can get an aftermarket bfs spool while the alphas air is a bitit more expensive. I can get two spool for alphas sv while alphas air only has one for roughly the same price. Im into bfs fishing.

Go get the veloce rv. Damn worth it. Weighs only 89 grams. I got one 632lml. Handle a 5kg toman with ease.
