Re: Anyone try the 7’4” heavy poison adrena
That’s what I was afraid of yet expecting
It feels super nice. Wicked light, awesome balance with the met 2020 and still really nice with the bantam. Rod is soft tipped, and a little slow to get into the back bone but once there feels like it could really horse them out. I think ho...

Re: Anyone try the 7’4” heavy poison adrena
Thanks for the feedback I’m not a fan of the 7’3” although I have two of them. I wish they were faster You'd probably really like the 7'2"H Adrena then. Very sensitive and just the right amount of faster tip than the 7'3"MH. I use my 7'3"MH for a lot of different things, but I will agree it's mostl...

Re: Anyone try the 7’4” heavy poison adrena
Thank you very much. Current set up for jigs is my glx 894c, and my paddletails, chatterbaits, and spinnerbaits is my 7’2” medium heavy expride. I’m selling off my envy black 7’6” heavy extra fast which is my t-rig rod and Carolina rig rod and would like a replacement. That’s where I’m looking at th...

Anyone try the 7’4” heavy poison adrena
Been debating on trying one for a bit now and noticed my local shop has one in stock. Curious what you like it for! It’s rated 3/8oz to 2oz so it’s got a wide range. Love to hear your thoughts. Figured it could be good for anything from Texas rigged creature baits, Alabama rigs, heavy spoons, larger...

How would you use this lineup
Well getting some fresh line spooled up, and leaders tied and reels oiled and cleaned when a buddy came over. He was looking at my 2020 line up and had a slight difference in opinion on what to use some of the rods for, so I’m curious what you would use each of these rods for and what might you add?...

Re: Want to try a higher end spinning reel
I’ve never owned a daiwa spinning reel but boy the amount of love for the certate I may just have to get one and then either the exsense or Stella (leaning heavily towards the exsence)

Want to try a higher end spinning reel
I’m looking at upgrading 2 spinning reels this season. I’d like to try higher end reels for spinning. Something above the stradic line of reels. I’m mainly a shimano guy but would be open to daiwa too!! Right now I will move my stradic fk to my 2 piece northern walleye set up (where I can’t bring a ...

Re: senko rod revisited: Spinning or Casting
It depends on what and how I’m fishing. In general I prefer to fish a casting reel/rod but for 5” senko on presentation I find the spinning reels do a nicer job. If I’m fishing ledges or slightly deeper water I prefer my nrx 852s. If I’m fishing near any cover in slightly shallower water I prefer my...

Re: I don't use spinning gear at all. Do you?
I have 4 spinning set ups left. 1 is a 2 piece I have set up for walleye on our annual hunting/fishing trip. Second Is a light rod for neds rigs, third is a dedicated drop shot set up and last is a universal set up for anything and everything. The universal comes out every time, don’t always use it ...

Which shimano low profile for deep cranking
Looking at getting a low profile shimano reel for deep cranking. Strongly debating the bantam mgl. Rod is a megabass launcher, 7’11” medium heavy, main purpose will be 6xd. The odd 10xd, deep six and 300x

Megabass launcher help
Looking at my first deep cranking stick and looking for something to learn on, grow with and use most universally. Wondering if the f5 or f6 is the better way to go? Afraid the f6 I won’t be able to try some of the slightly shallower baits ( 13-18’) and that the f5 won’t handle the real deep baits. ...
Re: Ned Rod
I’ve thrown 5/16oz tube head plus plastic and didn’t feel over powered. Through 1/4oz jig with plastic and didn’t feel too bad! I’ve mainly thrown light stuff so unfortunately I’m not too sure. I’ve yet to feel underpowered with in my hands. I’ve been extremely pleased with power, sensitivity, and b...

Megabass launcher f5 vs f6
Would like to get a bit more Insite on these two sticks. I’m looking for my first deep cranking stick for this upcoming season and heard great things on this rod. Wondering if the new gen 2 (f6) is better overall vs the gen 1 (f5). I see it had a wider range of luring ratings but not sure if the f5 ...
