Re: Anyone tried DIY spools? $29-$40 BFS spools!

Got the chinese spool from ebay. They're pretty much gen one Ray's Studio spools for $17. Comes with a garbage bearing, but i've installed one from ZPI and its all good now. Wont be able to use it until Spring, tho.

Re: Daiwa Project T 2020

That titanium coated blue'ish tint is so good looking. Why can't they make a full reall like that, even if its for a limited edition version. I would get it without thinking if its an alphas or a steez

Re: Has anyone tried BEARKING lures?

Put an Ito Shiner and a Kanata replica on order. Any of you been using them? How bad are they? Hello, Friend! I used both of copies and can help you. My opinion: 1. Bearking "ito shiner" is good lure. I catched some perch on it. It slowly floating with titanium leader (100-120 mm). Nice with jerkin...

Re: RARE SPOOLs

Hmm i always thought the "S" prefix is what made it shallow, not the 002. I have seen both, the 002 and 001 in shallow and deep versions, all having the same line capacities. What i did notice, tho is that the 001 versions have SOME spools that weight about 13g, while the 002 weight 10g on average. ...

Re: Any 2020 Shimano reel leaks.....

Rumor is, everyone likes the Tatula so much so that Daiwa allowed Shimano to borrow their design. I think that shimano fans will be very excited to have their own little spider. As a Daiwa fan, i enjoy having all kind of spiders on my reels.

PS: Can shimano take the Tatula from Daiwa? Please?

Re: Japan Fishing Show 2020 Predictions

For realz. The Tatula is Daiwa's pollution. Wish they made something like the Bantam. Quality solid little reel that is also made in japan, and not too expensive. Their insane focus on Tats is annoying. Never had a Tat. Will never have a Tat unless there's one that is below 6,5oz and made in japan, ...

Re: Cosugi Works Spool bearing

It came with a 3x8x4 bearing for the sideplate as well. Great bearings. You don't need to use the same brand of bearings for spool and sideplate, so you can buy any quality ceramic hybrids for the sideplate, no need to purchase a pair if you have one on the spool already.

Re: Zillion SV and ZPI RC 002

Yep this spool is not for every 34mm platform. I remember buying one for my Ryoga1016, did the shim mod and nothing, couldn't use it. Should work perfectly fine in a tdz and steez.

Re: Japan Fishing Show 2020 Predictions

I say this every year for the last 5 or so years. I want a Z1016. That's it. Don't care about anything else since what's currently available is already perfectly fine. Give me a small Z made out of magnesium, without the twing, micro gears from the newer ryoga and charge whatever you want for it, i'...

Now this is a price a Chinese spool should cost. they look exactly like the ray's studio spools too.
