G. Loomis needs to update the spinning rod reel seats. That one you have is sweet.

I live in south Florida and use the big swimbaits from California. They catch big fish here year round.

Re: Edge Delta 777
I have the edge first strike 7'8" flip extra heavy. id say its a little over rated on the max weight, Also a buddy has the swimbait rod and its definitely was over rated on the upper end of the suggested weight. That said its a great rod

Re: Bantam MGL reviews?
I love mine and have it paired with a steez frog rod. The only flaw is the spool needs to be able to hold more line. I have 50lb on my bantam and cast it down to the knot a lot. Its an amazing reel
Re: Edge Rods
Yep great rods, I have the 7'8" extra heavy casting rod. Tackle warehouse price matched their website price. Its a very sensitive
and strong rod. I would buy another.

Re: Edge inshore 6'6" light
Sorry to hear that, i would be bummed out too. I saw this thread and got tackle warehouse to price match the edges website first strike rods price for 225. The rod I have is the flip 787 extra heavy. Its a nice rod blank is Lmx. The handle is cool being carbon, but a little short because of the comb...

Re: Megabass Orochi XX... What’s next for the USDM??
I have a power tackle rod with the acs, its my favorite rod and i use it a lot. I have learned to live with it. Just not my favorite because i have smaller fingers and it makes my grip feel like it isnt great.

Re: Need some help with G loomis What is your?
I use the imx swimbait 955 rod for 1-2 tophook swimbaits, Carolina rigs, 1oz football jigs and 1-2oz bucktails for snook. Its a great rod for far casts and still having power to set the hook.
