Re: Who regularly throws small 3/16-1/4 spinnerbaits?
Honestly I barely have any bigger spinnerbaits. My fishing is very finesse oriented and the lakes I fish are pounded with all the regular stuff. I change it up from the norm and catch more fish, look into finesse swim jigs too with a 3.8 keitech.

Re: Medium light Helium 3 casting
Hi, I bought the Helium 3 medium light casting rod this winter to pair with a Shimano Aldebaran. Nice combo but cannot use it right now since still ice on the water up here in Canada. You will not have trouble throwing shakey hads with this rod. Not sure it is suited for spybaits though. I throw a ...

Re: One TOTALLY STOCK reel to rule them all
$300 or less I'm sticking with my lews. The only reason I really get away from lews is for bfs stuff or more refined round reels(conquest), lews is a really great value the team lite and pro magnesium are amazing reels and look very nice also. I would really like to see lews come out with something...

Re: Best value jerkbait rod
I've used a lot of rods around the $100 range and the dobyns fury 705cb is heads above the competition in that price range IMO. It is a great all around treble hook rod.

Re: Lews bfs spool
Thanks a lot! sounds like more trouble than its worth, will stick to shimano and daiwa for finesse stuff. Lewis team light spool is very light stock. Just fill it 30% with light line and with the right rod it should work decently yea it is fairly light and I tried this but it just worked "decent" l...

Lews bfs spool
Never seen it mentioned, but have seen some people say Abu spools will work. Is there any made specifically for Lews? Team lite and pro magnesium

Re: Medium light Helium 3 casting
Thanks for the reply! Not sure if the medium light is what I need though. Wanting to throw 1/8-3/16 shaky heads. Had a medium zbone and felt it was a little to stiff, but I had a reel on it that wasn't capable of what I was wanting. Anyone use the dobyns extreme 702c for shaky heads and spybaits? I ...

Medium light Helium 3 casting
Anyone used this rod from kistler? Thinking about picking one up and throwing a Aldebaran on it just haven't seen any reviews on it. Seems like a nice finesse casting rod.
