I have been to Angler's Inn in El Salto and it was the one of the most memorable events in my life. I have a chance to go back to Mexico with my son for another trip this year. I can go back to El Salto or the sister lake, Lake Picachos. I was hoping to hear some feedback from someone who has been t...

Anybody fished these? I am not an Alabama rig guy or even much as spinnerbait guy. I do throw underspins. This new bait looks intriguing. There are a lot of size options though. I was thinking 3/8 medium size would be a good starting point. Any thoughts?

I am a Megabass fan, but the only things I didn’t like about the Orochi xx was the weight (a little on the heavy side) and lack of a hook keeper. They look great and I can see myself trying one again if the new rods improve to become more like a Destroyer which is lighter.
I know there are quite a few NRX users (like me) who are enticed by the thought of a rod that is better than the NRX. I bought the Conquest 843c for primarily fishing jigs and worms. The fast action tip is much softer and takes some getting used to coming from the extra fast tips on the NRX. The rod...

I have been used to fishing with an NRX 853c for jigs. I bought the new Conquest 843C for fishing mainly 3/8 jigs with some 1/2 ( and the occasional 1/4 or 5/16) jigs. I will also use it as my soft plastics rod. The MBR tip is softer than I’m accustomed to, but I’m sure I will get used to it. I boug...
I have the 822 and I like it very much. The 820 is a little too whippy for my tastes. I don’t really use my drop shot rod for anything else. A drop shorvrig is always tied on that one.
I did order a 843c Conquest and have fished with it a little so far. It is taking some getting used to. I fished a jig for so long on my NRX, I was used to the way it fished. The taper on the Conquest is slower and softer than the NRX 853c I had before. The Conquest is sensitive, but it just feels d...

The Conquest is sensitive, but it just feels different. I don’t know how to explain it, but the Tackle Tour review so...
