Re: Shimano's High End, Light Weight Champion, Vanquish '23
I got a Vanquish 2500SHG from Digitaka and it is an exceptional reel. It doesn’t have the double handle or T handle knobs. It is replacing an Exscence which was an incredible reel. Smooth, lightweight, and a joy to fish.

Re: Souped Up : Aftermarket Bolt-On Reel Handles from Gomexus
I got mine in the mail today from Amazon. I was planning to put it on my Antares. It's very big. The handles are huge.

Re: Souped Up : Aftermarket Bolt-On Reel Handles from Gomexus
Are there any Geomexus users who can share their experiences? I am particularly interested in the ones with the cork knobs.

Re: Shimano Japan Renews Their Shining Star : The 2022 Aldebaran BFS
I have the previous version Aldebaran and I love it. It is paired with an Expride 6’10 medium. I primarily use it for jerkbaits (perfect for that technique), but also for poppers, lighter underspins, etc. I have to be honest, I don’t love the looks of the new one. The only thing that would entice me...

Is there anyone with experience who can speak to the power of the 755?

Xtasy 755 rod rating (Tackle Tour Review)
I had an Xtasy 754C and still have a 755C. I really liked the the 754C, but after reading the Tackle Tour write up, it shows it basically to between a M and MH (closer to a M). I am wondering where the 755C actually comes in. I am hoping Cal will weigh in...

Re: Feed Your Enthusiast Soul : Conquest 842C MBR
I have had everything in the Loomis lineup from E6x to the Conquest. I still have a mix of NRX, GLX, and Conquest. The softer tips of the Conquests do take a little getting used to. If I was going somewhere and could only take two rods, I would take my Conquest 842s spinning rod and 843c casting rod...

Re: Conquest rods shipping
The rod I sold was a NRX 853c. The rod I replaced it with was a Conquest 843c.

Re: Conquest rods shipping
Bantam,
I just got my 843c Conquest. In my first short trip out, it is very clear that the MBR with the fast tip is much softer than my NRX. It is clearly going to be more versatile, but am I going to like it as much for jig and worm fishing (primary use of this rod) as the NRX I sold.
