Re: Chronarch MGL vs Zillion SV TW

Order a Met. ;) Nah for real though. If you are curious as to what Shimano has to offer, why not go for the Met vs "settling" for the Chronarch? You get a magnesium frame for, what..maybe $20-$30 more!? ($294 w/free shipping on Digitaka) I honestly think your getting good advice... If you...

Re: Swim Jig Rod*

Sorry, I do not get emails when people reply to my posts for some reason. Anyways, I it's just the regular Tatula 7'2 MH. I opted of paying high dollar for this technique specifically. I'm familiar with G Loomis rods myself, so given the nature of their blanks compared to the Tatula, I am hoping it ...

Swim Jig Rod*

I'm sure this is a topic on here already, but ... I've found mixed reviews on preferred actions for swim jigs. I've always used a 7' - 7'3" MH/F. I've read that a MH/Moderate is a better rod action for the technique. Just curious as to what the masses are throwing for this technique and why ? I...

Re: Chronarch MGL vs Zillion SV TW

So the Steez SV TW is the real deal? I see they put the new A on Tackle Warehouse. It surprisingly comes in @ $449. So I guess it's between the Steez A Tw and Met mgl.. there's worse decisions to have to make in life haha.

Re: Chronarch MGL vs Zillion SV TW

not that you asked but its hard for me not to recommend the Metanium MGL XG (8.1:1) for less than $300 shipped. https://www.digitaka.com/list.php?category=14&series=CASTING%20REEL&item=METANIUM+MGL My email didn't notify me that you responded. Funny you brought that up though, I decided to ...

Re: Chronarch MGL vs Zillion SV TW

I basically joined on a similar question, but it include about 4 more reels and the 2 you mentioned. I do not own either, but if you have been around the original Chronarch Ci4+ much, my understanding is that the MGL is a refined, lighter spool, smoother (micro) geared version of it. The Zillion SV...

Chronarch MGL vs Zillion SV TW

I'm in the market for a new flipping reel, as well as, a new reel for my jerkbait rod. I will probably end up with both reels this week \:D/ I just don't wanna get the right reels in the wrong ratios.. My question is, should I get the Chronarch MGL for flipping due to its 8.1:1 ratio option, or shou...
