Re: New Poison Adrena

Anyone with feedback on the 72M Regular taper? Handle length?, which I hope is 15". Looking to pick up a rod for double duty, vision 110 and jigging lipless cranks. Currently have X4 RattleViper and Expride 68ml glass looking for something slightly longer.

Re: Dobyns Xtasy power question

Phippy, what baits/sizes and techniques do you use your 752s for? Thinking about getting one for 1/4 and occasionally 3/8 drop shot. Possibly ned rigs and light tubes. Thanks! Mostly 1/8-3/8 jig heads. Tubes and anything finesse from swimbaits/ned rigs, you get the picture. Its a true fast action a...

Re: Dobyns Xtasy power question

I know this will probably fall on deaf ears but if you’re fishing 1/2oz football heads in 30-40 fow you’re going to have a hard time setting the hook with even the 755. I fished my 755 with jigs in 15-20’ of water and unless I did a full on flipping hookset, the tip would just not bury the hooks......

I've fished a buddy's 753c and I think you'll want at least a 4 power if you're going to fish 1/2 ounce in deep water.
Thanks, that's what I was leaning towards. Care to give your opinion on the 753 in terms of performance?

Dobyns Xtasy power question

Hoping few Dobyns fanboys still hang around. Looking for some input between the 3-4 power differences. Been loving my 752s so I'm going to give a casting model a try but undecided on 3 or 4 power. Off shore fishing grass flats/transitons chasing smallies around perch/smelt I have two rods rigged up ...

Re: NRX 901 SJR Special Run

Just a little inside info but not 100% accurate. Friend of mine called me today if I want to order a 902s said u bet ya. Delivery sometime in November limited run on both models. Again just word of mouth.

Re: R.I.P. NRX 872s

Well either direction you go with the warranty claim Loomis is going to give you another 872. I guess you could sell your replacement for something different. I recently just snapped my 902s after owning it since first release, clearly my fault. Called up to use the expeditor program and since my ro...

Megabass Haze Dong. In assorted sizes/colors. Always produces.
This, still can't believe how well the 3" produces dead sticked DS. Colors are insane especially the new ones.

Re: Conquest 842S or Megabass Addermine

I have not had the pleasure of handling a Conquest but my Addermine is quite the rod. Comparing my NRX 902s their comparably close in terms of sensitivity both rods with same diameter and brand braid. I have a friend who purchased a Conquest 902s to compare to his NRX 902s ended up selling the Conqu...

Re: Megabass Braillist

So I handled the new Brailist this morning along with other XX models. Compared to my US Destroyers every casting model felt rather heavy to hold right at the reel seat, employees noticed this as well. To be honest did not handle with reel attached I was just so turned off by the feeling in hand I d...

Re: Megabass Braillist

With braid my Whipsnake has good sensitivity not great. I have a feeling I would be disappointed with any new Orochi XX model with straight fluorocarbon. I might take a ride to check out the Braillist first hand tomorrow. Other hand I'm liking my Daemos and FMJ in terms of sensitivity with fluoro.

I've had very good success hopping a 3/8oz tube on my Daemos, no problem downsizing to 1/4.

Re: Sunline Xplasma Asegai

I have the 16lb on my MB Whipsnake for drop shotting. Very thin but wiry IMO but actually surprised by the way it handles on my Daiwa Luvias 2505H. Only few trips out and only used once the jig bite as slowed and so far so good. Tying a fluoro leader can be challenging but the knot comes out clean a...
