Re: Which BFS reel?

I'm running the airy red Pixzilla and pixy type R with the I'ze factory finesse spool and can get down to 2gr comfortably. With the Ray's Diy spool and modified inductor 1-1.2gr with ease. Modified inductor? Basically made it into a fixed inductor/non sv. Just got a thicker square edge inductor fro...

Love 'em!

Have an airy red Pixzilla and type R. Most of the time I have to restrain from adding more. Constantly modifying them to fine tune to my liking

Re: At the end of the day, did you like the 13Fishing Concept Z?

I've used a few of the concepts for a while now, almost since they came out and no issues. The concept TX is my favorite and has been beaten on and stays consistent. That said, I got the Z and hated it. Inconsistent casting and it would shriek often so I ditched it. Recently converted the A3 to a li...

Re: Well I couldn’t stay away...

Got my rod and reel in plus some line on it. This reel is amazingly light, ultra smooth and just damn sexy. Balance is spot on and a great reel for the rod. https://i.imgur.com/wzBgzb7.jpg https://i.imgur.com/ZapOrVn.jpg https://i.imgur.com/vzEsk3x.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Z0Bnh2g.jpg Sexy looking r...

Re: Concept A for bfs?

Unless you are dead set and brand loyal I'd find other options.

I have a few concepts I tried to get bfs ready and it still wasn't good, even the KP is not super bfs capable imo.

For the cost of the C, buying the KP spool and bfs bearings you would have spent a good amount

Re: Alternatives to Carl's Drag Grease for BFS?

I'm using Deuthlon drag grease and it's amazing in everything, incredibly smooth drag pressure so no jerky skips which is favorable in bfs

Re: Anyone use the Bone Combat Beast or Black River rods?

I use and own quite a few of the Bone rods and enjoy them, I do try and go a rating lower than what I'm looking for though and it's worked out great.

Re: zpi m and pg spools

I wonder how they compare with these spools: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000034137937.html https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000104052608.html Similar style spools that are light with fixed inductors. The top one is adjustable to three different inductor heights, kinda like MagForce 3D except h...

Re: How do you like your high $$$ round reel?

I went through this exact dilemma, really wanted to get the new ryoga but the thin gears and not so great spool depth pushed me to the DC200 and I'm very happy with it.

I've even thrown 2oz+ swimbaits and it handled with ease.

Deuthlon brands for me
Semi fluid grs for the crankcase bearings
Gear grs for the gears
Drag for the brakes
Turbo oil for the spool and worm gear bearings

Speedx for the one way

Re: Red tune 60th TW; who’s in the goods?

Old post but for anyone that's searching...

It has nothing under the side cap. No centrifugal, no magnetic, nothing. Only thing there is to control spool is the mechanical braking or spool tension
