All I know is that SV spool is all it is cracked up to be and then some. It amazes me every time I use it.

The nice part is that you have more choices than that if you want. Gearsets are available in most of the popular speeds, not just the two available. I have 3 of the 6.3's, but one is going 7:1.

Lew's. Lots of guys rave about them, and they look solid.
I ran Quantum years back, but was unimpressed with their durability and availability of parts. Never again.

Left handed, but all my reels are rightys. Spinning reels, too. It just is more comfortable.
