Re: Curado K gears

I own 3 metaniums and all of them are XGs. 2 are 13s and one is the 16 mgl. The 16 Mgl's gears went out quicker then the other 2 metaniums because of saltwater use for Suzuki seabass in Japan. 5- 30+ fish days with fish averaging 3-4lbs and long hard pulls on tight drags from those fish is probably ...

Re: Titan 10.5 vs Hobie PA12

Also think about the area you primarily fish at and your normal conditions. I fish WA's calm lakes and harsh cold ocean with ripping currents so hobies are known for their seaworthiness and thrust that the drives put out. Im also a subscriber to greg blanchard and in those videos he does share the n...

Re: Phenix Feather

The light is a true light action with more of a moderate fast taper then fast. I fished my dropshot with a 1/8oz weight and 4/6 inch roboworm fatworms and it casted and pitched nicely with the magforce dial set in the middle/just below then a couple clicks up when the wind picked up.. I did switch o...

Re: Phenix Feather

I owned the 7'1 light for some time now and been picking away at some winter bass with dropshot and ned rigs. I mounted a daiwa alphas air on the rod and balance is perfect. The rod is very sensitive despite the price. After owning a major craft corroza, Jackson bastard, and zodias L all from japan ...

Re: Titan 10.5 vs Hobie PA12

Get the PA12 you won't regret it. Yes you might have to bend down to engage the 180s reverse but it's really smooth and so intuitive it later just becomes natural. I'm 5'7 and a broad 215 and this kayak is a bass fishing machine. Standing is no problem, horizontal rod storage for four rods enables s...

Does any body know if any of the HH studios bearing upgrades will fit the 3000CXH?

Re: Frogs and Flouro

Ive had alot of success with buzzing frogs on 16lb FC Sniper specifically Zman and Horny Toads on a Diablo Spec R. Mostly in open water/sparse vegetation. With the rod held high I feel like the weight of fluro enables the frog to run more parallel then when paused with the rod tip down sinks more na...

P-LINE Tactical!

So far I have the 12 and 15lb spooled on my G-rod crank stick and a megabass orochi xx. This fluro handles like mono casts like a dream and is small in diameter. Downside is I feel it's stretchy compared to most fluros out there making it not quite as sensitive as other lines out there. The lines pe...

Re: Dual-Yozuri

I haven't used the yozuri but I have used the duel hardcore series while being stationed in japan because it was always available at tackle berry next to base. What I can say about the braid is that it's thinner then average braids, handles well, and is as strong as its ratings. I used PE sizes 0.6,...
