Re: Best rod for a Deps 250

Budget isn’t the biggest deal, but would try to keep it under 300.

Best rod for a Deps 250

Hey all,

Just wanted to get some input on the best rod to throw a Deps 250 and or similar in size baits. I’d appreciate any response/recommendation.

Thanks!

Been skipping a 3/8 jig with it. Loving the rod so far
Appreciate the response, any other things you’ve been throwing on it? Paddle tails, any worms?

Re: Megabass Orochi Rod - F4.5-70X4 Black Elseil question...

I've tossed a lot of texas rigged plastics and light jigs on the Black Elseil and it handles them just fine. It fishes heavier than a "medium" powered rod and is rated an F4.5 which in Megabass speak is "Megabass Medium Heavy." 1/8 to 1/4 oz bullet weights and a worm or plastic, up to about a 3/8 o...

Re: Top shelf spinning reel

Appreciate the responses guys, I was thinking about the 2510 size too. I had purchased a Tatula LT 3000 for it a few months back and I just didn’t like the feel of it for some reason and it was a little smaller then I wanted. Is the 2510 JDM size around the same as the LT 3000?
Thanks again!

Re: Top shelf spinning reel

Just wondering how you ended up liking the reel trying to get some information on the 3012 size? I was going to throw small jigs and heavier shakey heads with my Steez AGS 7 foot medium. I just want a really nice high end reel for it and I want to stick with Daiwa. I would appreciate any response, T...

Re: Megabass Orochi XX... What’s next for the USDM??

I am in complete shock, I just picked up my Orochi XX Spec R today after work from my local tackle shop and decided to go fishing I have been waiting for months to get it and try it out. When I got my first bite I set the hook and to my complete shock the rod snapped right below the third guide! :sh...

Re: Chatterbait rod

I’ve been using a few different rods for my Chatterbait fishing but I was wondering if anyone has used the Megabass Black Jungle deep throat custom for chatterbaits? I would appreciate any feedback thank you all always!

Re: NRX warranty

So the Xpeditor doesn't require you to be the original owner? That would be awesome. It's no questions asked, so probably not, but you do incur a replacement fee that varies a little depending on the model. Gotcha, $125 isn't too bad for the NRX I guess. I appreciate all the responses and informati...

Re: NRX warranty

Just use the Xpeditor Service,a no-fault, no questions-asked, service program. If you break it, its most likely not going to be a manufactures defect anyway. http://www.gloomis.com/content/gloomis/northamerica/usconv/en/homepage/XPEDITOR_PROGRAM.html So the Xpeditor doesn't require you to be the or...

Re: NRX warranty

The info is published on their website: "G. Loomis rods are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against non-conformities in workmanship and materials for the life of the original owner ." http://www.gloomis.com/content/gloomis/northamerica/usconv/en/homepage/WARRANTY.html Thanks Cal, I assumed t...

NRX warranty

Just a quick question for y'all, I recently purchased my first NRX granted it was used but there isn't a scratch anywhere on the rod or the cork. I was wondering how the warranty works or if there is even a warranty for a used one, I'm praying there is lol

Thanks guys!
