Re: The smallest ultralight spinning reel?
I went with the Ci4 1000 a few years ago but now favor my Tatula LT 1000. Smoother feel and slightly better drag IMO. You can't go wrong with either.

Re: Anyone fish the TRD Crawz?
I've caught smallies and walleye with them. I keep a few colors with me all the time.

x2 on the Guideware. Hopefully BPS doesn't ruin a good thing like they did with the MT050 hunting line.

Dobyns Rod question
I came into posession of a Heavy Flip Fast Dobyns. I love Dobyns so I couldn't pass it up. I don't really do any flipping so I'm wondering what else this rod could be repurposed for. Swimbaits? What else?

I like the Tatula and Zillion both but if I had to choose one, I'm also going with the zillion.

Re: What have you lost while fishing?
A ton of money
Let's see, a box of muskie baits, an avid spinning rod with a Ci4 on it, hats, one phone, half of a Revo Toro (brand new and the screws holding the side plate and spool in were completely loose out of the box), Boga grip I left at the launch.

Re: St Croix Legend Elite
I have a 7' MF and it's my go to spinning rod. Walleye, trout, small swimbaits for bass, can drop shot but not ideal. Sensitivity is amazing. I can feel a bass lightly hit a senko like it was a brutal attack, a distinct thump.

Re: Advice on light power casting rod....
Go to a cabelas or field and stream and see if they have the Skeete Reese (W&M) Fluke rod. Might be more stiff than you want but it could be close. Disclaimer: I haven't thrown any 2-4 gm baits with it.

I absolutely kill them on jerkbaits. Smithwich Perfect 10 and Evergreen 115.
