Re: A Lesson Worth Sharing

I’m actually shocked to see this topic on TT. I thought I might be the only crazy one after switching to Evergreen. Had lots of MB variants over the years but I liked my first EG more than any of them... then the second was even better... then the... (you get the picture). Megabass has al...

Do you feel like it could handle 1/2oz cranks or stick to something more like 3/8oz (not deep divers).
Yes; i think it could.

Re: Megabass Vision 110 - Best Color?

This is my new favorite 110 color. I know, a 110 any colorways can catch 'em, but it's all about confidence and this one has mine. It's called GG Shad and looks about as close to a real baby bass as I've seen in a 110. It's part of the "Respect" color series MB has had out recently. Found them at ho...

Re: Megabass jota slantbridge

Yes; I have the stage II. I didn’t mention earlier, but I’ve even bounced small creatures on the shoreline with it and it did fine. It’s no dedicated jig rod; but I’ve taken it on shoreline walks with a tackle bag as my single rod and have been able to throw a lot of different stuff depending on con...

Re: Megabass jota slantbridge

I have the slightly less desirable newer version with the cork and acs seat, but I think the blank is similar to yours. It’s also a slant. Yeah; I think it’s quite versatile and I like it when I want to go to a shorter rod. I’ve thrown all kinds of smallish treble baits with it and found it works th...

Re: New Antares

I came across the instagram page of decadeworks (Kota Kasai). Tons of finished reel photos are posted. The matte paint and finishes he puts on the Antares are remarkable. Really brings out the reel’s design in my opinion.

Those 3-4 rods look like the original Gen 1 Shimano Cumara Rods.

Re: New mid range budget casting rod

Maybe those prices reflect differences in cost post import into Europe, but in my opinion you’re getting the most for your euro on that list with the steez ags.

Re: Steez racing Design 7011HRB

Oh man Dom. Inspiring indeed. I’m going to approach my first outing with the jigga differently. I would have probably come home on Friday unpacked it, spooled up a reel and gone casting off the bank for an hour until I hopefully hooked into one like an impatient child. Instead; I think I’ll take my ...

Re: Steez racing Design 7011HRB

Mine should be arriving Friday. I held off as long as I could. The MH hustler has been so good to me that it made the plunge easier. Are they worth the money? I’m not sure; you might have to be crazy in a certain way which likely explains me.

Re: New Poison Adrena

I’ve been considering another rod in this line up. How’s the backbone of the 72? I was looking at the model above the 72 but than the Otomat lingers in my ear. Judging by the other adrenas the 72H should be stout, i have the 72H expride so i ddint get the Adrena model. Understood. I was hoping for ...

Re: Post purple

Don’t you love when you get home from work and you got a couple rod tubes just leaning against the house waiting for you to get home? Since it is the 2018 purple edition, and 2019 is the year of no more shelf queens I had to have something to match my P.O. TD-Z. I grabbed a Designo Leben DLT-C71H+R...

Re: Loose rod grip

Will it slide away from the reel seat at all? No, there's a check at the back side that doesn't move, but the EVA and the check between that and the reel seat both spin. This happened to me on a zbone not too long ago. I tried a few different epoxies after a special trip to the local hardware and a...
