Re: What's REALLY next for Daiwa

https://i.postimg.cc/MHYXVYSs/Screenshot-20181211-183421.png That small lump looks like the plastic lip around the mag dial to me but it is hard to tell. Normally the Steez TW reels do not have this. The presence of this lip would indicate changes to the palming plate of the reel. So this would be ...

Re: What’s a decent 2 piece rod?

2-piece adrena rods are great and fish above their price point imo. They seem to rate their rods heavier than they fish (in my hands) so I’d aim for 1 power above how they’re rated.

Re: What's REALLY next for Daiwa

In the Project T Begins vid, Brandon Palaniuk is casting a reel that I haven't seen before. I assumed it was just the predictable Tatula 100 SV, which will inevitably come out. My thoughts as well But when I hit the pause button while he is casting the reel, I can not see a mag dial like on the Tat...

Re: Show off your stuff

It finally found me. I was intrigued by the new zbones, but thought no way am I paying that much for a bare bones build no matter how good the blank and guide train. Then came black friday sale... I've been thinking about my build a bear steez for about two years. Here's how I build my bear: left, 8...

Re: Need a Pitching and Frog Rod...Help...

Kistler h3 7'3" or 7'6" h Or the new zbone 7 6h. My first day pitching with it into sloppy cheese today. I can’t begin to praise it. Had a great bite as a warm front is moving in so really got a feel for it. Detected bites pitching and punching into thick mats. As sensitive of a rod as I’...

Re: Daiwa warranty service

If it was a bad batch they should probably know about it... I surprised how many different series of rods you had issues with. Good luck! It was only two series of rods, the Cronos, and tat elite. I just want a suitable outcome and to keep using Daiwa products. I'm not and would never look to scam....

Re: Surprise on my wedding day!

Super cool. :D

Btw: Showed the post of my wife of 18 (maybe 19) years. Her: what is it; a reel? Me: it’s a Stella! Her: have you bought that yourself yet? Me: No; I don’t own one that high end. Her: quite thinking. Perhaps you have helped sow a seed my friend...

Nishine lure works in the brown craw pattern looks Ok. I’ve found it catches fish well too. It’s a pretty simple pattern.

[quote="Aquaftm45"]I've had to bite my tongue the last couple of hours as I have gazed down at my beloved Morthan PE SV 8.1R-TW and back up at the new "improved" version. Aquaftm: I see only one solution here. You’re going to have to complete the set. :D I had the first morethan ...

Re: How much is a warranty worth.

Rods in general are proportionally delicate instruments with what we put them through, even when we do are best to do it with care. Not to mention, when we are performing physical acts with split second reaction thinking. Sometimes they’re going to snap. I think we should be prepared for that possib...
