Re: Xesta rods

Hi,I use two last models in casting,53 and 64, nice rods! 53 more for short cast,64 better on long distance. Both have a backbone enough for fight a big fish, great sensitivity, light weight. I recommend.

Re: Aldebaran 22 and Avail spool?

I have the Gekkabijin and two 22 Aldebarans with Avail spools. I really like the Daiwa and the Shimano reel in stock form. The Avail spools help with the very light lures, but for my fishing with 3.5-7.0 gram lures stock spool does great. Excuse me, does Aldebaran22 need to add 8 magnets(4mm✖1mm) t...

Re: New to BFS

BFS over spinning? For me,more accuracy and convenience. Kastking Zephyr and a Soloking Acura Pro just simple reels with linear magnets brakes, what's not bad for general BFS fishing. For spools, need to see exactly model and maker, you can find good spools under 60,some Ray studio for example(just las...

The most popular Daiwa workhorse will be renewed as 2024 model.

Listed price is 23000
Real street price should be about 18000 yen. It is time to whale when the yen is low.
Wow! What a huge surprise !

One of the fun things about UL fishing is, you never know what you are going to catch next.
Exactly! And the big plus, you're all time catch something in pressure spots from the shore.

Re: 1st BFS reel-Aldebaran BFS

Completely agreed and understand. The reel need to work properly, and be a nice toy))),for me Ald 22 good enough ,plus I have already 3 extra microspool for it.
I ordered 23 CC BFS just for "upgraded" brakes... so,if it's same like in Ald 22,I will put on sale NIB ;)
