Thanks Adam.
Any idea if a OG zillion HLC inductor will fit in a 1016?

Inductors: Type R+ vs Mag Z
Hi everyone. I am in the process of tinkering with some spools. Was wondering if say a 1016 magz and a 1012 magz...34mm spools If i replaced the inductor, spring and centri block to type R+ would it make any difference casting wise? Also with regards to springs what is stiffer? I m looking at the mo...

Re: Light power solid tip blank...?
You can try the matagi TR mebaru series. I have the 7.4' M.
It is a very nice blank but the max casting weight is 5g

Re: Exsence vs Exsence Ci4+
I don't have either reel but I have an older exsence lever brake.
I believe the CI4 is similiar to a ci4 stradic with a different colour scheme and some minor parts changed.

Re: Fishing ole classics
Yup just prefer the older models. I feel that the newer reels arnt designed to last as long. My reela include morrums, alphas, silver ryogas and SV103s (sold the OGs for not having 34mm spool compatibility) and nothing really new. Same goes for spinning reels. I tried the new shimanos (not a daiwa s...

Re: New small spinning reel - high-end Shimano, high-end Daiwa, or Van Staal?
I would not pick the sustain or stradics. I 've broken the ideal gear twice by just micro jigging (no fish on)
Certate or twinpower is what I d chose. I don't know about VS reels so I can't say.
