Re: My Travel setup! There's another ardito not in frame.

Very nice, I am an absolute sucker for travel configurations minus egg beaters styles :P

Re: **Hand me a Lando Calrissian moment this afternoon**

Triple Trout mail call :P Colorway additions yeah I have problems  and logic of course dictated I needed an 8" Bone representative and the 7" Southern Blue Herring that also came in  is just nasty 8-) Scott keep them pumping! Love the low key silver fleck in the Bone paint scheme, and you ...

Re: **Hand me a Lando Calrissian moment this afternoon**

Few pictures of yesterday evening's trip. No takers what else is new. Got to really work the Zillion TW HD. Loaded with 50lb vermillion PP and is mated to the 30th Anniversary WP. Slung the 7/0 belly weighted Gama and 6" speed shad for about a 3rd of the trip to get reacquainted to the bottom at Can...

Re: Swimbait line ...

I will add this though I am pretty dang satisfied with how my Glide bait selection works with braids but I would like to try to go back to straight mono and see if I might possibly get a little bit better action if that makes sense. You'll have to excuse me if a lot of this has been hashed out previ...

Re: Swimbait line ...

I'm also at the stage where I'm trying to experiment/trust more with line diameters too if possible as I am becoming a little more educated on what PE ratings mean, diameters and what not. I think in most applications i find it easier to use the traditional pound breakage but I'm also at the stage w...

Re: Swimbait line ...

50lb and 65lb PP at the moment. All my needs met no worries. my waters have been cruddy generally so never saw the need to use mono for my needs any longer once I made the jump to braid. especially at least until the local reservoirs clear up visibility wise....then i may be back to leaders but agai...

Re: Bass Fishing Bycatches

This came up on a picture feed from the way back in 2013. Cranking that night at Saggie. Used the ole beloved X4 Cyclone, HHS Zonda with 8lb P-Line Floroclear and DT-10 OG craw. What a flipping battle, but what fish wouldn't when you tail hook them and as you can see by the expression in my eyes I w...

Re: Tranx 200 for swimbaits ?

Also depending on what line diameter you feel most secure with 200 models can get quite a bit on there at least if you're throwing 40 to 50 PP maybe 55 if you're doing J braid or Samurai. To be honest I really dug 65 lb powerpro I'm sure there's better braids out there but once you get used to it it...

Re: Tranx 200 for swimbaits ?

I've had absolutely no problems with 200e sized Shimano reels :P throwing up words to almost 4 oz baits pretty sketchy to most but I put in enough time at least a season and a half if not more..... probably not the greatest for longevity on that particular platform but absolutely can be done no prob...

Re: **Hand me a Lando Calrissian moment this afternoon**

Okay picked this 9" bait wrap up by Swimbait Underground awhile ago. I did it mainly to cut back on weight and to be a little more precise on what I was going to carry for each individual trip as I still mainly Shore and yak angle for the time being I'm trying to carry one of these thicker Play No s...
