I have the nrx 894 and the extreme 745 , not the HP . The 745 is my favorite shallow heavy cover pitch'n stick ,pitch'n 3\8-1\2 oz Trigs and jigs , it just feels right in my hands ! How is the balance on the VALDIVIA ?

DOBYNS 704 EX. and the zillion 7.1 twsv is my fav. 3/8 to 1/2 jigs . Makes skipping jigs so easy . For heavier cover and jigs 1/2 to 5/8 the 745 EX with a steez 100SHA and I'm a braid guy so 40sx1, 16-18lb leader on the 704 , 50fx2 ,18-22lb leader on the 745 . FG knot 8-10ft leaders.

50-60lb sunline FX2 flipping , pitching , frogging and the SX1 40 -10lb . By far best braid I've spooled .

I have two curdo D100 and 50E , truth be told I really enjoy the 50E . Haven't had a chance to try the 70 yet but I bet it's a sweet little squarebill caster in the 6.3 ratio .

I have the 705cb mf and the 765cb glass rods and these two rods are very similar in action , with the 765 having a little more power of course . I can fish 3/8 square bills to 6XD , but I do perfer the deepdivers on the 765CB , Dobyns crankbait rods are jewels in the crankbait rod market IMO

I've been using Sunline 50lb FX2 for yrs. flip and pitch'n, frogg'n etc. with great results and I've notice alot of TT members have praised the Maxima braid and I'm wondering if anyone has used both the FX2 and the Maxima and can tell me the pro's and con's between the two .

sunline FX2 is the best I,ve used so far !

x2 diawa ct , the r has better bearing and lighter spool cast lighter baits better . ALF has new r's 139. on fleabay . Best bang for the buck IMO and I'm a shimano guy at heart curado and up . Diawa's cast control is the shizz .

sunline Sniper is a great all around line , not the best at one thing , just great all around [ knot , stretch , memory etc. ] ALF has it on sell .
