My favorite frog blank I have used is the ALX Zolo Toadface. For some reason, that blank just does it for me. But the rod just doesn't do it for me aesthetically/component-wise. Maybe the Perfect Pitch is the answer I have been looking for..

Tough question as it probably depends on the depth the angler fishes the most. For me, I mostly fish shallow and I love getting on a good squarebill bite. My two favorite squarebills are the Megabass S Crank 1.2/1.5 & the PH Custom Lures Huntin' P.

For frogging, I'd be worried about consistently driving the hooks home and moving fish out of the cabbage with the DSR. Hell of a stick, very nice with single hook moving baits and texas rigs though..
