Re: Chatterbait rod

The Javelin is awesome. It's currently my primary chatterbait stick. If you like 7'5" go for it. If you want something a little shorter, go Daemos. Although I will say, cndbasshunter's CQ843/903 idea could be fun too 8-)

If you're sticking to the XX lineup, I would go FSS or DSR

Re: XX PP for small swimbaits?

I throw 1-1.5oz swimbaits on a Megabass Evoluzion LWL Mephisto. It’s incredible.

Re: Megabass V. Evergreen

Alright so if I'm going to go with the Orochi XX its at the $300 price range. Am I missing better option at this price point or is this pretty close to the best $300 rod. Usually spend $200-$250 on a rod so this would be a step up and you guys have more knowledge combined than anywhere else so just...

SiC guides on the Carbon Head versions vs Alconite on the ‘16 Destroyers...and The hood on the Carbon Head models are similar to the ‘17 US Destroyers.

Re: Megabass V. Evergreen

Alright so if i were to consider the Orochi XX, still curious what the diablo type R is like? whats its strengths and such? The DSR is a helluva single hook moving bait rod...spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, swim jigs, etc. But it is extremely versatile. I mostly use my DSR, albeit in the Levante series...
