Sexiness aside, which is personal preference, the new Steez platform blows the old clean outta the water in terms of both comfort and performance. Combo looks sweet. Knock off of a Daiwa TN =D> Comes with PE line, too. Its like those Shishamo reels that appear on my Facebook page. Something like 36 ball bearings, frame molded in 100% carbon fiber, Lol.

Here in Arizona it can get up to 115-117 degrees in August (water is boiling) but that doesn't stop bass from biting in the evening throughout the night early morning (4p-8am) Im sure they bite midday in deeper cooler clear water, but its too damn hot, for me. Hard to deviate from gamakatsu's as far as hooks in general, but Im getting equally fond of Trokars.

As for dropshot hooks, I go pretty big even with finesses worms: size 4/5
