Re: Chronarch D one way clutch roller bearing
There are a couple of part numbers for that anti-reverse bearing. BNT 2949 and BNT 2396. Both will fit. I believe the 2949 is the ARB version. You're correct that it's the same part for right handed versions. It's just oriented the opposite way.

You don't have to buy the whole side plate. A BNT 2396 or BNT 2949 will work.

Re: Yokohama 2018
Slick looking rods. I'm guessing the new evoluzion rods would have torzite guides? Guess we'll have to wait for more info.

Re: chronarch ci4 sideplate trouble
I've seen this issue many times with guys fishing this reel on the coast. About the only thing to do is what was mentioned which is to put some some grease around the outer edge of the brake case.

Re: Just some new stuff
Nice acquisitions. I scored a white python slant bridge myself as well as a metallic red PO. Wouldn't mind an AOI and an IS71 Illusion to add to the arsenal. Liking the new boat as well, very nice.

Re: 13 Fishing Concept Z
If I had to guess I'd say plastic or brass bushings are present inside the reel instead of ball bearings. I am curious about how they set up the anti reverse without any bearings. Maybe the reel uses an anti reverse dog similar to the old ABU round reels.

Re: BNT3065 bearing
It's the same bearing as the "super free" bearing that sits in the frame around the pinion gear. I'm not familiar with the measurements, but I'm certain it's the same one. You can use a punch to get the bad one out of the housing, and use a vise to press a new into the housing.

Re: Custom Megabass rods
A bit too different for me. I would honestly like to see them bring back some of the old evoluzion models with the original slant bridge and put fuji torzite guides on them.

I bought a bassart handle and some handle accessories from Young. Items were as described and packed neatly. Good guy to deal with. I would definitely do business with him again in the future.

I saw these rods over the weekend at the Bassmaster expo. I must say they're sharp looking rods at a nice price point.

Re: First round reel
I've got a calcutta 100 te dc which is the usdm version of the conquest 100 dc. I think it's a fantastic reel especially with the digital braking system. You might also consider a daiwa millionaire 103 unless you're set on getting a shimano.

I looked on shimano's website under the parts tab and it shows that driveshaft is a discontinued part. However, I looked on eBay and saw there is a seller with 3 used ones for sale. Hopefully this helps out.

Re: Chronarch 50mg spool compatibility
You could put a Curado 100 DSV spool if you're looking for a little more line capacity. I used to run one in mine. Part # is BNT 3743. I'm not sure whether it's available or not.

Re: Durability of TD-ITO Sideplates
As posted above, light soap and warm water is safe, you could also wipe down with a microfiber towel, rubbing alcohol is safe too. never use any degreasers or harsh chemicals on ito sideplates. its also safe to brush the insides with warm soapy water and a sorft toothbrush. I appreciate the info. I...
