Steez AGS 75MH/H Bottom Contact :big grin:
How does this compare to the Nautilus? I’m a fan of the AGS lineup and have the 75MH on my radar, but also very curious about the Nautilus.

Also, no mentions of the P3 Bearing Down. Are there better offerings now?

Re: Daiwa Steez SVF AGS vs Daiwa Steez SVF-XBD Frog Rod

If you’re already enjoying the XBD and are looking for more out of it, the AGS will fill those needs. It’s lighter, more sensitive and balances better.

What about colors? Shad color the go to for most or are the more favorable colors depending on the conditions?
Black blue, green pumpkin, and white are always a good starting point.

Re: Best combo for a chatterbait?

This topic has been beat to death on TT and every other fishing site that I frequent. The answer all depends on what you are fishing. The bladed jig can be thrown just about anywhere. Therefore, the answers will be all over the place. Brett Hite and many of the other guys that are throwing glass/co...

Re: Best combo for a chatterbait?

I probably sound like a broken record, but I can’t say enough good things about the Steez AGS 7’2” mh. It is my favorite rod for single hook moving baits. It is not your traditional regular tapered crank rod. It’s stiffer to rip through grass and with plenty backbone for solid hook sets, but once un...

Re: Steez AGS casting rods

For now I own 7’1” MH 7’2”MH 7’4”XH 7’6”H For bottom contact, 7’4 is my favorite. The 7’2 is an phenomenal single hook moving bait rod. It is the best rod in the line up imo. Looking to get another bottom contact but can’t decide if I want another 7’1mh or 7’4xh. Perhaps the 7’1h. Do you think the ...

Re: Zillion SV spools compatible with Zillion TWS Reels?

Hello there tackle junkies, This is my 1st post on this forum and I know there are some real experts on this subject on here. With regular maintenance (annually), my 9:1 Zill tws has held up just fine. Still smooth and solid. Mainly used for frogging and punching with heavy braid and drag locked down.

Re: Dedicated swimjig rod.

I’ll vouch for my Steez AGS 7’2” mh paired with a Steez A that I’ve dedicated to moving baits with single hooks.
It’s is down right the lightest and most well balanced combo I’ve felt.
It is one my favorite rods.

Re: Reel seat comparison - tatula elite & steez xt

Im a ig fan of the air beam reel seat, and am looking for a mh power rod, but it looks like the steez xt is going away. Anyone have both of these rods and could give me a comparison? The tat elite seat appears to be more similar to a fuji ecsm, but i havent actually seen or felt 1. I do know most o...
