Re: New reel advice

I'd go the Exist personally. I'm not a fan of the recurring bandaid perforations on the spool like the '10 Stella. Have a look around and see if you can get a deal on the '15 Exist or the Stella FI. You won't go wrong either way.

Megabass help!

I need help finding information on the Shoreluck Limited I just purchased. It is on the way in the mail and I want to know what reel (weight) would balance it. Also I wouldn't mind finding out about the construction, as far as I know it has Torzite guides and a solid tip (with a sick grip section).

Re: Chronarch or Steez?

I would personally go for the Steez, I prefer the Steez in my hands. Another great option if you can find one is a Megabass Zonda 68, it has plenty of line capacity and is really nice to use. Another reason for the steez is a high resale value once used.

Mate, the Megabass Zonda Hedgehog Custom would be up there with "the best" or you could wait out the new Alphas Air Stream Custom

Re: Looking for a new jerkbait rod

There are a few majorCraft rods that match this description. The basspara 632ML is an awesome rod for the money, Fuji O Ring guides, a bit stiffer than its rating more like a regular fast Medium with a strong buttsection. The Benkei rods and Go Emotion rods are also awesome, majorcraft have quite a ...

Re: Diawa Battler and Morethan Baitcasting reels

Both reels are a Zillion Variant, the Morethan incorporates magseal and a somewhat light spool weighing 16-17g. They are excellent reels. The battler is almost the same just a different colour and a deeper spool, weighing about the same. Both are supersmooth but are not designed for lighter stuff. T...

Re: Rod decisions....the struggle is real!

Mate if Shipping isn't an issue I'd be looking at the Samurai Rods Refration and Infinite, amazing rods, designed in Australia with top quality components: Titanium SiC guides on the Refractions and micro Titanium Torzites on the Infinite. Great rods, I own 3 Myself (Refration and Reaction (spinning...

Re: Finesse Spinning Reel Size Recommendation

I use usually a Daiwa Caldia Z 2000 (another painted up, added bearing Aussie variant) and I've had no troubles at all. I a man running your said line situation with 8lb Jbraid and 12lb leader. 2000 has fantastic line control. I use this setup day in day out, that being said I run micro guides.

Re: Metanium mgl vs chronarch mgl thread

Can't help you bud. Australia is only bringing in the 6.2 gear ratio for the lefties. Schematic is off the Shimano AU website. Best to call Shimano US. Shimano Aus need to pick up their game, most rods are imports and barely any are uniquely Australian. It would be nice if they made some special re...

Re: AUDM Tackle Reviews

Hey guys, I have noticed a few threads lately about Australian tackle, specifically reels, and was wondering would people like to see reviews of these said reels on an AUDM review thread? Living in Australia and working at a tackle distribution company it would be easy for me to do so. I'd like thi...
