Re: 2019 kistler z bones in stock

I cant really say it is 100% more sensative than the fmj. I do have tuesday and weds off work so ill put the same reel on both rods and line and go cast some baits in the same range. ill do a 1/4 oz t rig 1/2 oz jig and 3/4 oz jig or t rig to see the comparison. I have braid on the kistler right no...

Re: Poppers that "bloop"

River2Sea Bubble Popper??? Only color you will ever need is black (Loon)... Awe yes. The poor man's Pop Max. And they aren't what I would call real cheap!!! I am actually working on a topwater order right now, Pop, Prop, Walk, Wake. Anyone know how the Ima Finesse Poppers do??? Also I RARELY topwat...

Re: Poppers that "bloop"

The poppers that have bigger mouths that are not angled will bloop the most. As already said, the Hula Popper is the king of the bloop, and the Pop-R is good also. You can sand the bottom lip of most blooping poppers to give them more of a spitting action. The spitting action tends to be better aro...

Re: Poppers that "bloop"

It all could be on how you stroke the lure :-k you should like the pop max that is my favorite popper obviously aesthetically it is sexy have tons of colors, limited and standard bait fish patterns to choose from but it also has form. I can actually walk the pop max when I using a snap, not sure if...

Re: Poppers that "bloop"

Rebel Super Pop-R, it is 3-1/8" long and only weighs 5/16oz. I fish spitting poppers when the fish aren't very aggressive or the water is clear but when I want that "bloop" sound the super pop-r is what I like. The best part for you is that it is heavy enough to fish with casting gea...

Re: First Northern Chunker of the season

Nice! I'll definitely give it a shot. I have TD 20's, 30's and one other brand that dive 30, an assortment of spoons, also regular diving stickbaits. I'd like to avoid downriggers if possible. A guy at the bar was telling me about a line-through Hardbait with a real erratic action but I can't rememb...

Re: First Northern Chunker of the season

Damn dude, a big Laker is a bucket list fish for me. I bought some trolling combos, tail dancers and spoons this spring. I planned on hitting Lake Superior for Coho and Lakers but spring happened all at once this year, never got the chance to put my gear to work.

Re: Bass Opening Week (Pic's/Video)

Nice edit man, The fishing was awesome, I liked the way you cut in different camera angles. There are a couple chestie shots where you can see the line jump! I would save the music for the B roll scenes, driving the boat ext. I think veiwers would like to hear what you have to say and what's going ...
