Re: MB Orochi xx EMTF for jigs & t-rigs

FMJ is probably more suitable. I used mine for 1/4oz+ bulky Trigs and it worked well. It was pretty much made for 1/2oz jigs

Nice! That silver must look good with the blue. I was thinking of going medium action. The expride 7M looks nice too.

Re: Looking for a rod recommendation (shakey head, weightless worms, jerkbaits)

I have a 7' He3 light/MH it's light, crisp, well balanced and sensitive. I'd say its very good for 3/16- 1/4oz shakey. I have used it for Jerkbaits, I didn't find it to be to long for working the bait and I'm 5'9". The extra length will help cradle fish, less likely to bend out hooks/loose fish...

Re: What’s your 2019 Rod to have?

I really only need a Kistler H3 dropshot rod and a Ci4 2500. I'll probably get a 73H Zbone because I have a problem ](*,)

Re: Line selection summarized

I would say the characteristics of flourocarbon can fluctuate the most. Better handling flourocarbon lines stretch more, are less sensitive, and have less abrasion resistance than their harder, denser, more difficult to manage counterparts. I like softer flouro like invisx for moving baits and harde...

Re: What rod caught you the most fish in 2018?

FMJ and SV103H 16# shooter and usually 5/16oz Trig or shakey head. I think my St.Croix 7MH LE was a close second. I had my anteras strapped to it with 14# trilene xl. I used the LE for topwater, spinnerbaits and traps. That 7MH LE is something for keeping treble hook fish pinned.

What do you plan on using the superleggera for. Would it be good for bottom contact. 7ft 5 power with a fast action, sounds like it would be foot for t-rigs smaller jigs

Re: I believe she is the "one"

Congrats and I like the narrative. =D> Interesting thoughts and that is the great thing about the rod market today. So many options to help fill the gaps. I think the Mets are great on the 3 powered rods and something like the Antares would be nice on the 4 powered rods. How would you compare the a...

I believe she is the "one"

https://i.imgur.com/3uyrfjn.jpg I mainly use 3/16-3/8oz Texas rigged plastics for bottom contact. I first dipped my toe into the high end rod pool 7yrs ago with a glx bcr803 jwr. I couldn't believe the sensitivity but was underwhelmed with the power. She was great for 3/16 ounce tubes/worms just no...
