Re: LC Staysee 90 question
With the deeper diving jerkbaits I like a moderate fast to a fast tip but that's just me. With the regular suspending pointers I use a moderate to moderate fast tip but the deeper diving lures have a lot more resistance when working them and need a little faster tip. Again, my opinion...

Re: Dobyns or G. Loomis?
I have the G Loomis 955 Swimbait rod and love it. I can cast all day long and it has the good ole warranty to boot........... My only stink with loomis is the reel seat is not compatible with any of my reels and I need to use a spacer with my curado 300 or the reel falls off while fighting fish. Do...

Re: A question for D.R. and other Revo users...
I don't think D.R. has any more Revo's! I think it means he has a "new" favorite reel!

I use the Dobyns 684CB with an Alphas 103 and it performs flawlessly.

Re: Pixy use
I have the Airy Red and the Amber Orange and they have both held up better than the TD-Z's as far as finish and there probably isn't anybody on here that abuses their stuff worse than me on tourney day. As a matter of fact, the last batch I got back from servicing from D.R. had a note with them sayi...

Re: anyone used any of Kistlers Helium 2 LTX telescopic rods
I used a LTX He2711T most all season and liked it. I can't compare it with the Powell,(I've never used it) it is a good stick and I also threw swimbaits with it some. Bigger swimbaits overpower the tip some, (as Cal's review points out) never the less, it will work in a pinch. Good flippin' stick th...

Re: FANTASY: Sunshine Showdown September 13-16, 2007 Lake To
Who won the plastics? I'm home for a week and want to get all my stuff caught up before I leave agan this weekend.
Re: Carrots
Dang, do a search for LTX looking for a particular Kistler post and get a Carrot Stick post. I guess Ken must have liked the name. LOL Just a curious question, but I noticed that the Carrot stick has the same hook hanger as the Kistler but just located a little different, won't your line hang up on ...

Re: line question
Yes, fluorocarbon line will keep over the winter. Fluorocarbon is not as susceptible to temp changes as mono or co-poly is.

I in no way was trying to stir the pot for any company, just trying to get some facts. Sorry for posting.
Re: sunline
As it was explained to me, They use blue dye to mark the middle of the spool so you can tell where you are when spooling. An employee got fired at the end of the day so he didn't clean the equipment when he finished. The new guy came in the next day thinking the equipment was clean and started to wo...
